This is my first fanfiction that I've written so please be paticent with me :) I do not own any sonic characters it's a disclaimer thing

It had been three months since Sonic and friends had defeated the Meterex. Some how, no one quite knows how, Cosmo had survived from that deathly blast. She was now on her way to visit her very close friend Tails. Both her and Tails had been through so much together. And ever since she came back her and Tails had frown closer together. Cosmo smiled as she thought, " I've missed Tails a lot. I hope he's as happy to see me as much as I'll be happy to see him."

xxAt Tails Workshopxx

As usual the two-tailed fox was working on one of his inventions. He was improving the X-Tornado. After tightening one last bolt, he stood back to admire his work

" There! This outta stop Eggman if he attacks us again!" Tails said. Suddenly, he heard the doorbell ring.

" Coming!" Tails yelled. He quickly wiped the oil off his hands and headed upstairs. Little did he know who was waiting for him. Finally reaching the door, Tails opened it. There before him stood as he would describe as the most beautiful creature in the universe. She had green, leaf like hair. Her dress looked like flower petals, they were white on top and green at the bottom. On both sides of her head were two red rose buds that matched the color her gem in the middle of her chest. But what Tails absolutely loved was her bright, gorgeous sea blue eyes.

" Hi Tails! I thought I'd drop by and see you. I hope you don't mind." Cosmo said. Snapping out of his daydream Tails, " No not at all. Come on in Cosmo." Cosmo smiled and gave Tails a hug. Tails blushed and hugged her back.

" So h-how you been?" Tails asked. Cosmo looked up into Tails' sapphire blue eyes and said, " Good. I've just missed you."

" I've missed you too Cosmo." Tails said. Cosmo blushed.

" You're just...so beautiful." he sighed. Realizing what he had just said, Tails blushed even harder and tried to hide his face. Cosmo giggled.

" Tails looks so cute when he blushes." she thought. Cosmo smiled and said, "Thank you Tails." Tails scratched the back of his head.

" Hehe you're welcome." he said. Then he smiled.

" If only I could tell Cosmo how I really feel. Ever since she fell out of the sky... I've been in love with her. If only I could tell her how much I care about her." Tails thought. The two of them went into the living room and sat down on the couch. There was silence for a while until Tails spoke, " Hey Cosmo can I ask you something?"
