My name is Julian Gates or "Jude" for short. I am fifteen years old and I am going to tell you how I started my Pokemon adventure. It started out I had just turned thirteen years old a couple of days ago and I was ready to start my first ever Pokemon adventure. You may think it is a little wierd that I am starting my first Pokemon adventure at the age of thirteen. So here is the reason I started so late. When I was about four my parents died by a Pokemon attack and I had to live with my aunt and uncle. They despise pokemon but I love them. I begged to go each year but they refused.

But finally after a lot of begging they finally said yes. I was so excited and I told them I loved them very much and went to change my clothes and get ready for my first ever adventure. I lived in Pallet Town so I went to where Professer Oak was giving kids there first pokemon. When I arrived there I saw him and said, "Hey Professor, how you doing this fine morning?" He responded with, "I'm doing alright this morning, I see your aunt and uncle had finally let you become a pokemon master." "I know it's so exciting," I said.

We went over to a table that I three pokeballs. He said, "Here we have three pokemon, first is Charmander the fire pokemon, second we have squirtle, and last we have bulbasaur the grass pokemon." They all looked so cool! He said, "So which one will it be?"

I looked at each one and after about five minutes of deciding I decided Charmander. He gave me the pokeball and I got it and pressed the button. The pokeball opened and out came a little charmander. He was so cute and couldn't wait to go on a adventure with him! Professor Oak said, "You could give him a nickname." I decided and I named him John Lennon. Oak said, "Isn't John Lennon a member of The Beatles?"

I nodded and I told him when my parents were alive they loved The Beatles. That's why my name is Julian because my Aunt told me my mom and dad's favorite song was "Hey Jude" and Jude was John Lennon's son (also known as Julian)My favorite Beatle was John so I decided to name him John. Oak said, "That is a great name, anyways here is your pokedex and pokeballs." I was so excited I said to John, "Come on John we have and adventure to fulfill."

I went to my aunt and uncle's house and got on my stuff ready to go on my first Adventure! My aunt said to me, "Please be careful out there I don't want to end up like your parents" I said, "Don't worry aunt I will be careful and him something's up I will call you." She looked at me and then nodded. I waved goodbye to them as I was getting ready to go on new adventure. I said, "Come on John let's go!" My aunt yelled out, "Hey Jude I love you!" I laughed and said, "Love you too Aunt Sophia!"
