Shane stood over to the side as Mitchie talked to her parents about her performace at final jam. He needed to talk to her to apoligize to her for not giving her a chance to explain. All he wanted to do was to kiss her sweet pink lips. He noticed her parents leaving and went to her side.
"So, I guess my search is over." He said walking towards her.
"It depends on what your looking for." She giggled slightly, "Hi, I'm Mitchie."
"I'm shane, You up for a canoe ride later?" He asked hopefully.
"I wouldn't miss it."
The final jam session ended and Mitchie made her way toward the lake where they had humg out so many times this year. Shane sat on the dock waiting for her.
"Hey," She said letting him know that she was there.
"Hey, come have a seat."
"No Canoe?"
"Nah, it seems to cold even though it is August."
"You're right."
"So when does school start."
"Next week but I wish it was later so that I didn't have to leave this place."
"I know exactly what you mean. I was the same way."
"Atleast I am not the only one that felt that way."
'True. Hey Mitchie can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah, go for it."
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Shane are you serious?" He nodded. "Of course I will."
"You know I was hoping that it was you that was singing the song."
"Well it was me."
"I also have to tell you that i am going to be on tour for the next couple of months but I will call you whenever I can."
"That fantastic Shane, just don't hit on any girls." She joked.
"I could never." He then leaned in and kissed her lips gently.
1 week later
Mitchie walked into her home room on the first day she took a seat next to her best friend Sierra. She took her time getting herself ready for a day full of classes.
"Hey, Mitchie how was your summer?"
"Pretty good, how about you?" Mitchie decided to leave out Camp Rock and Shane knowing that it would cause every one to favor her.
"It was really good."
Then Mitchie noticed a girl that looked familiar to her talking to the teacher. The girl turned finally showing her face. "Caitlyn."
"Mitchie." They ran up to each other giving each other a hug.
"What are you doing here?"
"We'll my dad's job transferred him here and now i go to school here."
"Awesome."
"I know, I wanted to suprise you."
"Alright everyone, take your seats," The teacher said to her homeroom. "We have alot to discuss about the day and the school year."
Everyone sat down as the teacher began to talk. Caitlyn sat next to Mitchie and Sierra.
"We have a new student in our midst her name is Caitlyn Gellar, she seems to know Mitchie already, and I hope that you will all welcome her to our town. The school also has a suprise for you all. There is going to be a concert for you after homeroom. Connect 3 is kicking off their back to school tour her at our high school."
Caitlyn and Mitchie laughed causing everyone to stare at the two as there was a knock on the class room door.
"What is so funny?" Sierra asked.
"Nothing." They responded. They turned to see Shane standing in the front of the room.
"OH MY GOD, SHANE." Mitchie said running up to him.
"Sorry i didn't tell you i wanted to suprise you, but i did tell you that i was going on tour. Hey Caitlyn."
"Hey Shane, where are Nate and Jason."
"The wood shop, the whole me and no birdhouse has your boyfriend in a frenzy." Everyone in the class was shocked at how close they were.
"So Mitchie how do you know Shane?" The teacher asked.
"We met at Camp Rock over the summer and we are currently dating." All the girls mouths dropped as they heard the words come from her mouth.
The classes made their way to the auditorium. Mitchie and Caitlyn sat in front so they could see their boyfriends up close. Shane saw Mitchie sitting in front of the stage just like he had hoped she would have. Soon their new song "Play my music" started and they got the feedback they had been hoping for. At the end of the song all three members of the band grabbed a drink of water but Shane walked to the edge of the stage.
"Hey everyone, I'm Shane, and over there is Nate and Jason. and We are Connect 3. Now that was a new song I wrote over the summer and it will be on our new album being released later this year. As most of you have heard over the summer through Hot tunes TV, i have been a jerk as my girlfriend had put it to me. And she has helped me change that and right now, i want her to come and sing a song that made me fall in love with her with me. She might not be to happy that i did this but oh well, What do you say Mitchie, another shot at final jam?"
Mitchie sighed before getting onto the stage. Nate gave her a hug before handing her the mic he had been using.
"Thanks Shane, for your suprise visit, but your singing your part too." She said in the mic with a laugh causing the student body to get confused. "This is a song that I wrote after i arrived at camp rock and realized that music made me who i am, but then he heard the song and went on a hunt for the girl with the song only to discover it was me, his friend that he sang songs to for her opinion."
"Enough with the story Mitchie, sing the song, you are just trying to buy time, and you know it." Shane joked knowing her to well.
"Fine." she said before the music started and she took a deep breath before letting the music flow through her body and out through her voice.
