I am in search of a new quest. I check my map to see where the closest quest is located and I head in that direction. I walk into a cemetery where a woman asks for my help. She tells me that some people have taken a woman into the catacombs and she (her name is Xenia) asks for my help. She follows me into the catacombs where Xenia originally told me she was going to help me fight, and now she is not feeling well and I must fight myself. She gives me words of encouragement and tells me that she can heal me if I am injured.
I come upon the first man who I fight easily with nothing but my bare hands. I decide not to kill him and tell him to run away but to leave his weapon. I have now gained his slingshot. I return to Xenia to have my health restored. We then go to find the next person who is a female. At first I forget to use the slingshot I just acquired and I am almost beaten. I run back to Xenia to have my health restored, then I get the slingshot. I return to the woman and defeat her with the slingshot. I also tell her to run away and to leave her weapon.
Along the way I have been told about a man who practiced necromancy (the dark art) and how he has entrapped himself and some minions in a tomb. They have taken the woman to the tomb. As I go down the steps further into the catacombs, I find the tomb. Inside is the woman and the last man I must defeat to release the woman. I am using the magic staff I acquired from the last woman I defeated, but I am unsure how to use it at first, so the man is able to beat me up pretty good. I get away and return to Xenia to restore my health and I return to defeat the man. I again decide not to kill him but tell him to run away and leave his weapon, however he decides to drink the potion and unearth the spirits in the tomb.
I have freed the woman and run out of the catacombs. Xenia tells me I can return to defeat all the spirits that were unleashed, but I have had enough fighting for today. My quest has been completed. I will return another day.
