"Well, General Hakuro, any last words?" The person before him stated as he pointed the gun at him. "Only this. Why now?" "Because the case is closed in 5 days, and you ruined me. I'll make sure you die with it!" the figure said as he fired the gun twice and the general dropped dead before him. Laying the weapon down, he went to jump out the window with a final note, "Merry Christmas." As the culprit disappeared, Mustang burst into the office, "General Hakuro!" He looked down to see the slain general and the pistol and kneeled by the pistol and picked it up. At that moment, He looked over at the next building and a girl was staring right at him calling the police. Some other military members came in and saw the two. "Brigadier general Mustang, Did you kill this man?" "No, I came in a found this!" "No he beat us all here! He's got the murder weapon!" "But..." At that moment the police arrived, "Clear out everyone, Mustang, your coming downtown!" and with that Mustang was arrested on the spot. As the murderer walked back in dressed in his military uniform, he looked at the girl and winked.

"Phoenix! I'm bored!" Maya whined. Ah same old Maya. She hasn't learned to stop whining apparently, but I'm glad she's back. It had been 3 years since the Edgeworth Murder case happened, and Maya had just returned from her medium training. He remembered when they met, at the side of Mia Fey's dead body. She had come to pick up something and found her there besides her sister's body. The next day he was defending her in court. Since then they were close friends until she left after the Hammond case to continue her medium training and she had just come back recently.
The office phone rang and phoenix picked it up, "Hello, Wright and Co. Law firm. Phoenix wright speaking." "Hey Phoenix. How are you?" "Miles Edgeworth, You were th last person I expected to call me. So what's this all about?" "I just wanted to say merry Christmas. How's your firm been doing?" "Ah, we could really use a new case right now." "Then here's your present. There was a military murder that seems almost identical to the Mia Fey case and The Hammond case." "Ah, so what are the detail?" "Well, The Victim Was General Saturso Hakuro. He was killed with two gunshots. One was in the shoulder, the other in the heart. The suspect is a man named Brigadier General Roy Mustang. He's known for wanting to become fuhrer but some of his Subordinates say he would never commit murder to reach the top. He's being held at the detention center." "Thanks for the Job Edgeworth. Was there another reason you called?" "Yeah. I wanted totell you I left the proscutor's office and now I'm looking to work for a defense law firm." "We've always got room here." "Then I'd like to become a new laywer working at the Wright and Co. Law offices. Also I'd like permission to take this case as my first one." "Welcome to the firm, and yeah you can take it as your first job with our law firm." "Thanks Phoenix. Why don't you come down to the station to chat with the suspect?" "Sure I'll be there." With that, he hung up the phone, "Come on Maya. We're going to the station since we got a new case." "We did?" "Yep. The Hakuro case. And we'll have a new defense attorney working on it with us. Name is Miles Edgeworth."
