There's really not enough stories of Blaster. If you want to take it as slash, I can't stop you. Just a (rather...strange) drabble. It may be hard for people to understand.
Hear the Rhythm, Feel the Beat
He couldn't remember a time when he couldn't hear the rhythm. From the moment he came online, he could hear it. It assaulted his audios every second of every day, but he didn't mind too much.
It changed all the time, which, admittedly, frustrated him. One minute, it was slow and cool. The next, wild and crazy. He kept up, but it still bothered him.
He tried to describe what "it" was, once. He failed, miserably, and the mech thought he was just another crazy defect. But he wasn't.
How do you explain something no one else can hear? He couldn't figure it out. Eventually, everyone stopped asking, and he stopped trying. His symbiotes were the only ones who understood, on some level, what he meant.
Then, one cycle, he met someone like him, but different at the same time. Whereas he, Blaster, heard a forever changing rhythm, the mech, Jazz heard, felt, a steady beat. It was...he couldn't find the words to describe it, knowing he wasn't alone like he thought.
When Jazz was around, he could hear the beat, too. The rhythm and the beat mixed, creating a totally new sound. One Blaster could listen to all day.
He thought it was a shame no one could, or would, understand. If they could just slow down and listen, maybe they would hear the music, too. It's everywhere, after all.
