A/N this came to me while listing to Big time rush. Don't judge. Hope like it and if you cant tell, its Annabeth talking.

You know that saying, 'life's not fair'? Well I can agree but disagree. I mean how is life fair when your dad doesn't love you? Or when you best friend is turned in to a tree? Lets not forget when Luke, who was like a brother to me, tried to… kill me. But I also agree because thanks to life, I got to meet Percy.

Thanks to life I got to go with him (and Grover) and get the lightning bolt and we became friends. Then we went to the sea of monsters and we became BEST friends, when he saved me from the sky I fell in love with him; had my first kiss with him in Mt Saint Helen; stared to go out after the war.

Thanks to life, i'm right here with Percy. In his apartment watching a movie, cuddling and laughing at how the Disney movie Hercules was way off.

We were talking about the most random things. School, friends, haters (you know who you are), and camp.

"I missed you" he whispered in my ear.

"I missed you too" I sat up and gave him a kiss. As we pulled away, he had a goofy smile on his face. I started to laugh.

"What's so funny?"

"Where's Riptide?" I asked. Confusion came across his face.

"In my pocket. Why?"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah- no, no you didn't- ANNABETH CHASE GIVE ME BACK MY PEN!" I got up and ran. He was chasing me yelling and trying to be mad but I can see him smiling.

"You got to catch me first!" I yelled. I was laughing so much that I didn't notice him get close. Out of nowhere, two strong arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me to the ground. We broke out laughing… even more.

"Hi" I said staring down at him. I landed on top.

"Hey beautiful" I blushed a little. "Can I have me sword now?" He asked with a puppy dog face. Oh he's so cute!

"Yes but first, a kiss" He put his hands on each side of my face and pulled me down for the kiss. It started of slow and sweet but it soon turned in to a make out session. He sat up and sat me on his lap. After we pulled away for air, I gave him his pen and went back to the couch to finish seen the movie. I rested my head on his shoulder and fell my eye lids droop.

"I love you Percy"

"I love you too Annabeth"

Yup, life isn't fair but sometimes, I have to disagree.
