A/N: Well...I got bored so I wrote this...enjoy...
Kit stepped slowly around the circle intoning the words in his mind, he had laid out all of the materials and he was sure that he could do it…but if he couldn't, he was dead, the world was dead. But no, he had prepared, he was ready, it had to work, it just had to.
Kit paced around the circle in an attempt to gather his thoughts. An intricate framework of lines and curves laid out the linear pattern of earth and the celestial balance of the heavens. This was his job, to realign the universe…he could do it, he had to do it.
He glanced through the forest to the alcove where Nita was holed up, trying to keep everything named, everything constant…why did this have to fall upon them. She was doing her best…but there wasn't much that she could do, it was up to him. He was the only one that could repair the damage, and after the last battle, there had to be a lot of damage. Well, there's no time like the present in which to start, thought Kit.
Kit began the incantation, speaking with the soft, flowing words of the speech, "mehallare' sethheth pouvois neuretsth benarth forasth fue tomasquoi aryiadenoith alandrilla venar…" Kit continued with a strong voice, weaving the tendrils of magic together, this was madness but he had to try it. He began to list off the planets and their orbits, the stars and their intensity, speed, velocity, power, everything had to be perfect, exact, it was all up to him. If he did a single thing wrong then it would be his fault, he would die, she would die, everyone…It was all up to him and no one else.
Words in the speech continued to pour forth from Kit's mouth as he sought to do the impossible. Everything had to be perfect, absolutely perfect, for if it wasn't, than only madness would entail. The spell wound itself to a close, it being truly complex but short. Kit had done it, he had saved everyone, but every magic has its price. Kit collapsed on the ground, he had done it, he had saved everyone, but at what price? It was worth it, Kit resolved before tumbling down into darkness…she was safe, everyone was safe, the universe was safe. Entropy wouldn't have to win the war, even if it might yet win him.
A/N: So...Did you like it? I'm also wondering if this is better as a oneshot or if I should continue it...In addition, if anyone else wants me to get writing on my other stories than go ahead and ask me now and Ill go do it if I know there Is interest. As a funny side note, if you know spanish, split the first word of the speech up into two words...its spells out...i will find myself...so, yeah...go forth and review.
