Mewtwo and Mew started to launch their attacks once more. They had been fighting for so long now, just like all the other Pokemon.
I heard a thump from behind me. Ash had climbed down from above where he had landed earlier, and had landed on the ground on his chest. Misty had run over, trying to help him up. He refused.
Suddenly he bolted for the center of the gym-like stadium we were fighting in. I watched as he screamed for the fighting to stop, and the attacks of the Legendary Pokemon hit their new and unexpected marks. I watched him fall, his body now stone.
I ran over, tears falling from my black eyes. I was intent to wake him up. I shook him again and again. I used Thundershock and Thunderbolt and Thunder Wave even. Nothing worked.
I started crying. My trainer was dead. I was shocked. He couldn't be dead! He just couldn't! It's not right!
I heard the other Pokemon begin to cry, but I didn't care. Tears can't bring him back, I thought bitterly.
I watched as his body began to glow a bluish color. I let a few more tears fall towards the ground.
The glow vanished. He slowly looked up. "Pikachu?" he whispered.
He was alive.
Pokemon Tears had saved him.
My tears had saved Ash.
