Chell stared at the charred Companion Cube. A faint memory of her first run of tests made its survival make sense.
*Flash Back*
"All Aperture technologies remain safely operational up to 4000 degrees Kelvin." She heard GLaDOS say as the platform lowered.
'Damn.' Chell thought as she looked around for a way out.
*Present*
She looked at the Companion Cube. It looked slightly different.
Chell pressed a small button which opened the lid. A note lay on top of a pile of medical supplies.
"It's dangerous it go alone. Take this Aperture Science Medical Kit."
