3rd book: awful (when did "The Hunger Games" turn into "warboringwarboybookwarwar"?)
So in the end, Katniss is like, "Gee, this rock is so big and empty, sure wish Gale would materialize, but he doesn't, guess I'll go marry Peeta who HATES ME." What. The only thing Peeta had going for him is that he was so devotedly obsessively in love with her and had been since she was like 3, which is awesome. Now he vaguely tolerates her. And says that she's not pretty. Peeta, any likeability you had is GONE.
And who ends a book with 75% of its plot dedicated to "which boy will she end up with?" with "Peeta and I grow back together." ...really? Really? That's all we get? There could have been an entire other book dedicated to HOW she got with him. Don't tell us THAT she got with him, tell us HOW.
Oh, and WHAT THE HECK PRIM DIES? Wasn't the POINT of the whole SERIES to keep Prim safe?

Once upon a time there was a girl named Katniss and a boy named Gale who were bff soul-mates of awesome sauce. One day, Gale was like, "Hey, we should run away together and live in the woods."
