I Stand in the center of the Pyrosphere, the heat causing me sweat even through my armour. The hairs on the back of my neck tingle. My eyes instantly snap onto it...the creature...I can feel my heart thundering in my chest. As IT flies a large loop around The pyrosphere. I Hear it land with a thunderous boom, my eye widened in shock. standing before was a massive purple creature, reminiscent of my childhood stories of dragons. I collapse onto one knee, my mind bombards me with the deathes, the deathes of my friends, of my family. "Samus..." Adams voice was faint from the blood flow pumping into my ears. "Your vitals Samus they're going off the charts, Samus calm down!" I Hear Adam scream into my ears piece faintly, worry clear from his tone.
But I was no longer Samus Aran, bounty hunter for the Federation, hero. I Chuckle at that thought, I was no hero. I Heard the the term "Genocidal Sociopath" used to describe me once by a civilian. And I think that term describes me better. Yes murder of Metroids, destroyers planets...bringer of death. I Am better then..."Ridley!" I Claw at my head. I Feel now just as worthless as I did...THAT...DAY. Am I still the scared little girl, the scared. Little girl who watched helplessly as her entire planet I once called home was wiped out. The same little girl who watched as a child Baby gave it's life to protect. The Same little girl who clearly lacked the strength to kill this monster.
"Samus focus, we need you" Ridley screamed uselessly in my ears. His Foot falls grow ever closer, loud rumbling breaths shake me to the core. I Am almost feel like I'm watching my self as a child as Ridley prowls closer to me. "I Killed you" Fury clearly in my voice.
"Samus Aran, Samus please listen to me. You need to calm down, this can't be Ridley. It's just another one of his kind" Adams tries to persuade me, but my path has become clear to me. I Stood up from my near collapsed state. The Soldier I believe his name is Higgs is firing uselessly at Ridley. "Samus stop at..." I Turn off of all communications instantly silencing Adam.
"Ridley!" I Bellow, hate, rage, contempt that had long simmering came to a boil through my voice. I Was no longer the little, nor was I the Federation bounty hunter. I am the Chozu trained warrior, I Am the human female hunter, but most importantly. I Am Rage, I Am hate, I Am the murder, the destroyer. The women who made entire planets disappear. I Am Samus Aran. Here I stand ready, ready to end what Ridley started so long ago, when he failed to kill the little girl, when he failed to kill the bounty hunter. Now I know clearly who I am, I am his killer. Yes this is what I am a killer, not just run mill murder though. No I am an equalizer, the Federation, and especially Ridley. they are imbalances in the universe. I Now know why the Chozu chose me, they me chose me because. I WILL CORRECT IMBALANCES.
But this isn't about my new destiny. Ridley I will kill you, no more then that, I will rid the universe of him completely. Yes that's more like it. I Will rid the universe of Ridley completely, not because of this new destiny I have. But for revenge, for my parents, for friends. This is murder plain and simple.
"Ridley" My voice was now deathly, but myself and Ridley both hear the animalistic under tone. We can feel the blood of a beast pumping through are veins. We both know this the last battle we will ever have. "Ridley" My arm cannon was glowing brightly "When I am done here..." This was a promise nothing more "There won't be enough of you left..."
