I own no part of Harry Potter. If I did, there would be a lot more scenes with Oliver Wood. =]

First Day at Hogwarts
Lily's
bright green eyes popped open. Today's the day. Today's the day that
Lily Potter will be officially going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft
and Wizardry. Her eyes moved to the clock that shown on the moonlight
on her wall. Four o'clock in the morning.
Lily quietly tip-toed
out of the room, careful not to wake her sister.
The door creaked
loudly as Lily opened it.
"Lily, what are you doing?"
"Nothing Tuney, go back to sleep."
"Are you
sneaking out? I'll tell Mum."
"Don't tell Mum, I'm just
going to meet Severus. It's my first day of school, Tuney!"
Footsteps
could be heard coming toward the door. The girls father came through
the door, looking sleepy but not angry.
"Girls? What are you
doing up?"
"Lily was sneaking out!" whined
Petunia.
"Snitch." Lily muttered.
"Is that so?"
said he said.
"Yeah, she was going to meet that Snape
boy."
"His name is Severus." Lily informed Petunia
for the thousandth time.
"Is this true Lily? Were you going
to meet Severus?"
"Well, yeah." said Lily
guiltily, "But today I'm going to Hogwarts and I asked Sev to
meet me so he could tell me about it."
"Alright, that
sounds reasonable. In fact why don't you invite him over for
breakfast? I'd like to learn more about this school as
well."
"Unbelievable." said Petunia under her
breath.
"Really? He can come over?" Said Lily glowing.
She knew her parents were suspicious about Severus because although
he was always polite, he would tend to avoid them and answer there
questions in the shortest possible way.
"I don't see why not.
But why don't you wait till he's up then you can call him."
"Dad,
Sev doesn't have a phone."
she said as if it was the most obvious thing ever.
"Oh...
right...of course. Well, how are you going to contact him?"
"Well,
we arranged to meet at the park down the road."
"At four
in the morning?"
"Yeah."
He considered
this.
"Alright, but hurry back."
"Thanks Dad!"
said Lily as she flew down the stairs to meet her friend.
"And
be careful!"
At Kings Cross
"Well,
there's platforms 9 and 10 but I don't see 9 3/4." said Mrs.
Evans when they arrived at Kings Cross.
"See, Lily? I told
you this was all a lie!" Screamed Petunia triumphantly.
"Don't
say that! It's not a lie!" Lily said as tears welled up in her
green eyes. She turned to her friend, "Right, Sev? Hogwarts is
real."
"Of course it is. We just need to walk through
the platforms." Severus said confidently.
"That's
impossible!" said Petunia, "You can't walk through
walls!"
"No?" said Severus as he walked casually
though the solid brick wall. Mr. and Mrs. Evans gasped, Petunia
shrieked and Lily's hope filled up again as her best friend walked
back to her.
Petunia felt the brick wall also trying to get
through but it remained solid.
"You can't get through, you're
a muggle. Only me and Lily can." Severus said, smiling proudly.
"Ready?" he asked Lily who was beaming.
"One
second," she said as she turned to her parents, "Bye Mum,
bye Dad, bye Tuney, I'll write you every week!"
"Don't
bother you awful little freak." said Petunia savagely.
"Quiet
Petunia. She doesn't mean it, love. Have a great time!" said
Mrs. Evans.
"See you at Christmas break." said Mr. Evans
pulling her into a tight hug.
"Bye!" said Lily again as
she and Severus walked through the brick wall.
