This is my first "Atomic Betty" fic. If you've watched the episode "Betty's Secret Admirer" you'd know that Atomic Rodger likes Atomic Betty. So I thought I'd write a fic about how/why he fell for her. This takes place between "Atomic Rodger" and "Betty's Secret Admirer". This chapter focuses on how he fell in love with her.

How I fell in love with her

I had it all planed out; I would hide all the gold pieces in my handsome hair. While at the same time, I tried to look like a hero. Of course I was so close to actually replacing the greatest known Galactic Guardian, Atomic Betty.

Then I found out why she's called the best Galactic Guardian, that's right, she caught me. Now I was stuck in that stupid prison.

I still don't know how it started but I guess that it just happened.

I think it started when one day I was watching TV with some of the other prisoners (at least one good luxury). One shouts to switch to a channel with Atomic Betty fighting a monster. So I thought: whatever, it's better then nothing.

But when I saw her, the feeling was just indescribable. I felt something I never felt before: love. Although my fabulous hair is the most important thing in my life that even she couldn't replace.

Anyway it was close to Valentines Day and I got out for good behavior. I was watching the news and I found out that somebody was stealing gold and diamonds and leaving love messages for Atomic Betty in the process! Not to mention that they're blaming me!

I knew that it had to be Dodger. Who else could it have been? So I ended up finding him at a bar. Somehow he managed to find out about my crush. He's also planning to unleash the most dangerous beast in the universe on Galactic Headquarters.

Only good thing about that is actually carrying Atomic Betty to safety. Wow! Of course I had to tell her that it wasn't me who sent her those Valentines. Though I didn't tell her that I secretly wanted to. Then she goes off mumbling something about so much for secret admirers. Could that mean she likes me? Sure hope so! Thanks for listening!
