Leah was in Carley's flat. They were having turkey salad for dinner. Snowgre had gone out into the City Centre to skate board. He was remembering when he'd used his powers to help those he cared about get home. But Charming was still in this world.
He then saw Shrek walking towards Carley's flat and smiled. Charming was still angry about him beating him in this world. He then conered him with Ashleigh's help. "What do you want? I've got to get back to Carley's flat before people see me." Shrek told him. "You're always going to be a freak. You think that kid in there and her loser friend along with your cousin really love you? They're just using you." He told him as he kicked the ogre in the chest. He sank to his knees in agony. Ashleigh joined in by beating him up all over. "You tell anyone and you're slayed!" Charming yelled as he pushed him to the ground.
He groaned as he got to his feet. Every part of him hurt badly. "What can I do? Charming started on me and now he'll never leave me alone. I've got to make sure Carley doesn't find out since our hearts are connected." He thought as he rang the door bell. Snowgre answered it and was shocked. "What happened to you?" he asked Shrek. "I was in… a fight." He answered. Snowgre had a feeling that wasn't true at all.
Carley wondered what was wrong. The bracelet around her wrist glowed as well as the onion charm on it. She felt really worried. Because of that, their hearts were connected. Leah saw she was quiet. "You okay? You've been quiet for the last few minutes." she asked her.
"I'm okay. I was just thinking about stuff." Carley answered. Shrek was in the bathroom cleaning up his wounds and bruises. He was feeling depressed about Charming bullying him but if he told them, they'd laugh at him.
"How did you get back?" Carley asked when he joined them in the kitchen. "I didn't get through the portal so I've been here for a while." he explained to her softly. She could see the sadness in his brown eyes. He then fell asleep in the spare room but was having bad dreams about eariler. Carley felt good as Snowgre hugged her in bed but she could feel Shrek's pain and sadness. "Something is wrong with him. I've gotta find out what." she thought as she kissed Snowgre.
The next day Shrek was walking on his own when he saw Charming show up. "Where do you think you're going? Soon you're going to wish you'd never been born." he said coldly as he punched him hard in the face. Charming ran off laughing. He felt it was swollen and was turning purple. "Oh great! They'll find out." he thought as he ran off...
But Leah had seen what had happened and was worried for him. But she decided not to tell anyone, to keep it to herself until it got serious. If that happened, then she would tell. "I hope he doesn't hurt you." she thought as she watched him walk off sadly...
