Your Secret Admirer-

Summary: Lily isn't very popular but is pretty. James gives her secret admirer stuff, and she'll never know. If his mates ever found out…oh he'd be in for it.

CHAPTER ONE- Noticing the Girl

James walked down the hall after hours, coming back from the kitchens. He stopped when he saw a flash of red hair.

"Shit." He muttered, realizing he had left his invisibility cloak in the kitchen. He quietly turned around, until someone stopped him.

"Nice try Potter." Lily Evans said. She walked up to him.

James put on his best smile and said, "Evans! What a wonderful surprise! Have I told you how the moonlight accents you beautiful features?"

He could have sworn he saw her blush slightly and said, "That still won't get you out of detention Potter." She smiled bitter sweetly.

James groaned. "Come on Evans! I already have it for a week!" He complained.

She smiled, "Next time, don't go out after hours." She said. She turned, but James stopped her.

"Hey! What can I do to make your mind?" James asked arms full of sweets.

She smiled. "Nothing." And took a pastry walking away.

James smiled, Sirius would get beat for most detentions this year, at the rate he was going at.

"Morning Evans!" James said the next morning.

Lily smiled and said, "Sod off Potter. You've still got detention." She walked past him intending to go to breakfast.

"No, I wasn't going to say that, although that would be nice." He said.

"What?" Lily complained.

James looked at her. Not just looked, I mean REALLY looked at her. She was pretty. People knew that, but she was Evans, so they didn't bother with her. She had very soft make-up on, but had a light shimmer to her cheeks. She was beautiful James decided, and got flabbergasted.

"I- uh, I you look, I mean" James said, not getting a sentence out.

Lily laughed and pushed past him, leaving.

Lily was surprised at breakfast when she received a letter. In a pink envelope she opened it, just to get it snatched out of her hands.

"Oh Lillian here has a love note!" Her friend said reading it.

"Give it back!" Lily said reading it.

Dearest Lily,

I saw you this morning, and wow. I never really noticed how good you look.
