Im late for school! Watanuki screamed.
Wait! Said Yuuko. – Today is a good day to say Doumeki how you feel about him-
Uh? Said watanuki. The fox tube hidden in his clothes.
(on school )
Watanuki talked to Doumeki at sport class. He got a chance to speak to him in the soccer field. (not directly, they were back to back) He was lowering his head.
-Im sorry he said.
I should have listened to you.
Yuuko told me that you saved me yesterday. But you had to pay a price. What was it?
Doumeki was still showing his back. He was wearing his white sport clothes.
What whas it? Watanuki asked as his fingertips touched his back.
Doumeki yelled DON'T TOUCH ME! He pushed Watanuki really hard. He fell on his back on the dust. His glasses on the floor.
Everybody in the class stared.
Doumeki was panting. He ran away.
Watanuki looked hours for him. When he finally found him he was leaning on a wall next to the deserted tennis court.
He saw something crawl and squirm in Doumekis body. It resembled a black snake with small red eyes around his neck.
Watanuki said: -You have something in your…
But Doumeki didn't listen. He attacked Watanuki and inmobilized both his arms and legs.
Watanuki wouldn't say anything and remained serious in the floor.
Doumeki started yelling. He pulled his hair and rolled on the floor like being possessed.
His own nails in his skin. Trying to control himself. You could see red blood spots in his white uniform.
The snake like demon kept tightening its grasp around his throat. Doumeki kept struggling.
Watanuki pulled the demon fox out of his pocket.
Damn! If I let the fox out it will only hurt Doumeki.
Suddenly, Watanuki remembered Yuuko´s words: " Today is a good day to say Doumeki thank you about everything he has done for you"
Doumeki still in the floor. Watanuki standing by his side.
I know am always a moron to you but you´ve been always there to help me. Asking nothing in return. You are an important person to me.
Doumekis eyes went wide. The snake demon let go of Doumekis neck for a moment.
NOW Fox ! Screamed Watanuki.
The small fox turned into the beautiful nine tails demon ,and ripped the black demon apart.
Doumeki fainted.
Almost at the same time, Yuuko arrived at the Soccer grounds (wonder how she got inside the school) wearing a red dress with black flower patterns. She said:
-Doumeki was possessed by a demon.
Whaaat? Answered Watanuki
Normally, people control their emotions and desires by willpower and rational behavior. After he broke your curse, he freed the demon that feeds on unrequited felings, controlling the host´s body. Making numb both willpower and rational behavior.
But Doumeki´s soul is strong and managed to control himself even in those conditions.
So, he got that demon because of saving me?. (Flashback to when Doumeki saved him the day before). When I woke up, Doumeki was by my side, looking really pale and… (Watanuki opened his eyes and said "why im I wearing this?) By the way, what was the dress for?
Yuuko: That was just for fun! Hohohoho!
Grrr. Said Watanuki
What happened? asked Doumeki, who just woke up.
You don't remember a thing? After all the effort I spent saving you. Complained Watanuki
(Fox Demon was still eating the remaining of the black snake )
Doumeki: It looks like it was the fox who saved me.
Whaaaat! You ingrateful bastard!
And as while they argued Yuuko said:
Well Kid, that snake was Doumeki´s payment to free you from the spell. Now you have to pay for it, since you destroyed it.
NOOOOOO! I will work for you forever. (Sobs).
( A small smile showed in Doumeki´s face as he looked at the scene)
