Dean and Castiel were still in Purgatory, and they were still trying to find a way out without no avail. At the moment, though, they were taking a break, and they were at one of the hiding places they kept using so that the other monsters wouldn't get to them.
"There's a matter I want to discuss with you," Dean said.
Castiel looked at Dean. "You never talk like this, Dean," Castiel replied. "What would that be?"
"Last year why didn't you just give us, me, Sammy, or Bobby, the benefit of the doubt?" Dean asked.
"I had a war to fight," Castiel reminded him. "I know now freedom comes with rules or chaos ensues."
Dean smiled glad to know that he finally understands. "That it does," he said. "No system is perfect, Cas; when we get out of here, you'll figure your own system."
"That is if I can find the other angels," Castiel replied.
"You will," Dean said with confidence. "There's been something I've been meaning to tell you." He looked up at Castiel.
"What would that be?" Castiel asked the question a second time.
When Dean looked at Castiel, he was totally absorbed into him. He lifted himself up and kissed him. "I've missed you."
Castiel gave him the sweetest smile, and then it was his turn to kiss back. "Don't worry, Dean," he said. "We'll get out of here."
