Maggie knew that Rex had always let the certain feminine have access to his belongings. Not that she wanted to invade them. She and Rex had spent some time together to the point where she basically knew about everything on Rex's existence. What he liked to do in his free time, what his aroma held, his favorite shampoo, she basically knew every face Rex had managed to pull off.

They were secretless.

Well, that's what Maggie had thought as she was sprawled out on Rex's bed, his presence was not detected within feet from the room and she guess he must've been on a mission. A long one. Maggie was determined to do something in her spare time and a sudden spark engulfed her whole excited trait.

Rex always talked about how he liked to read. How he managed to crawl an idea of reading a book into her mind. Knowing them both it was more like a challenge and not an idea. He talks about reading so she assumed he must have at least one book lying about. Her eyes lingered to the small door in the back of the room as guilt had pushed her innocence away. Just one peek, one little inch from looking inside that closet, one heartbeat to think. Maggie jumped from the bed as a flashback of Rex came across, he had warned her that the closet was off her access list. It was actually at the very spot claiming number one.

Innocence screamed at her to not open the door and leave it be, but, her own mind was curious as to what resided inside the small room. Making no more thoughts she would have to go with her mind on this one. Her legs geared her over to the white door, her eyes wide with particularly a hint of vengeance. They were secretless, remember? What would be so bad behind that door that he had to keep it a secret? No time to waste. Her hand had thrown itself on the spherical metal knob and turned it, a clicking sound emerged as a result. Out of many months of wondering, she began to reconsider her own thoughts before she said screw it.

The door opened and all what stood was a colorless shelf. Lying on top was a grey notebook, nothing else.

Just a notebook that seemed to scream at her, began to taunt her as if it held the biggest secret.

Her guilt washed her body whole like pouring water into a glass. The notebook was now in Maggie's hands, her fingers trailed over her name that sat along the middle of the cover. Now she just had to look. Without any idea of a familiar presence, she had opened to some random page with words. Not just any words, but words so powerful that could only be written down with the source of strong feeling or an emotion.

In this case, the emotion was passion, desire, affection, intimacy, fondness and many other emotions that she could not allow to pass through her state of shock. These words were geared toward her. The blush had extended and claimed each part of her face. Rex was in love with her. She felt her breath hitch in her throat as a familiar voice punched at her ear drums.

"Maggie?"

Not just any familiar voice. It was his. It was Rex.

Hey! I'm new here, well, I will say this is my first small one-shot. Please review and I'll be sure to post a part 2 later on! I'll be happy to take any REQUESTS. (I only do GR, sorry!) Anyway, I hope you enjoyed and I'm bad at cliffhangers. Also, I'm only using Maggie as a name. It's up to you on what you prefer. Please review so I know someone at least decided to read through my writings, thanks!
