Wufei looked at his Nataku who had just died in his arms. He pushed the reality that she was gone out of his mind and shook her, shouting her name. No matter how loud he shouted, she didn't hear him. He knew that but didn't want to believe it. Of course he didn't love her. He didn't love anyone. But they had just begun to get along. How could this happen? What did he do wrong? He sighed and just sat there as the wind blew across them again. He shook his head. At least she died in the place she loved most. He thought to himself. I feel so lonely.

Ever since then, Wufei was alone. He didn't' want anyone to see the hurt he had inside. The guilt that ate him alive. One cold, windy day, Wufei went out of his home to take a walk. He kept seeing Meiran's face. He forced it away but it kept re-appearing. Shivering, he pulled his coat up over him. He walked passed a flower shop. He decided to enter and get out of the cold.
"Can I help you, hun?" the lady behind the counter asked.
He looked around the place. A certain flower caught his eye. It looked like one of the flowers that grew in the fields.
"Would you like to buy that?" she said.
Wufei sniffed the flower, lost in his loniliness and self pity.
