This story wasn't so good. It's kinda like a re-write of my first story. Sorry about that! This is "Zatch, You Idiot!" in Zatch's POV.
Wow…the days have gone so fast…And I can't believe that I'm now the king! I was excited, but a little nervous. I wish Kiyo was here to give me some advice. But Arth is teaching me a lot of the king stuff, so I guess it's more or less the same.
After the ceremony was over, Kolulu, Kanchome, Ponygon, Won-rei, Ted, Rein, and all my other friends said hi, and congratulated me. I was so glad to see everyone! But the thing that bothered me was that Tia didn't come to see me. It really worried me. Did I do something wrong again?
I decided to take a walk. A little fresh air would help me. To take my mind off everything, I just focused my attention on a rock, kicking it as I walked. But then I saw a small figure huddled up sitting on a bench. I walked a little closer. It couldn't possibly be…
"Tia?" I said, once I recognized her.
Tia looked at me, a bit startled. "Oh, hey," she said. I sat next to her.
"I'm here to say hi, Tia!" I said. I couldn't help smiling, seeing my friend. "I haven't had a chance to say hi to you in a long time!"
"Is that it, Zatch?" Tia asked, a frown crossing her face.
"Uh, yeah…" I thought a bit, but I couldn't remember anything she wanted from me. "…Were you expecting something of me, Tia?"
"Well, Zatch, since you're here, I -I have something to tell you," Tia's face turned red.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Actually, Zatch…" Tia said nervously. "Zatch, I…I l-lo-l…love…y-"
I couldn't hear her that good; she was getting inaudible. I leaned more forward to her, hoping to hear better. "Yeah, Tia? You love what?"
Tia glared at me for a second, and then all of a sudden she yelled," ZATCH, YOU IDIOT!" She started crying.
"Tia!" I said, a bit surprised at her sudden outburst. She and I stared at each other until she calmed down.
I didn't want to see Tia so upset. "What is it, Tia? What is it?" I asked this quietly, hoping not to upset her more.
Tia pushed me away from her. Some expression flashed on her face, and she opened her mouth, but then she shut it angrily and yelled," Nothing! Why would you care if I cry? Why are you even here right now anyway?! Go to Kolulu if you love her so much!"
Is this why she looked so hurt? I hated seeing Tia like this. I walked over to her and hugged her. "Zatch?" Tia asked. I stepped back, but I held her shoulders.
"Tia, I don't love Kolulu," I said, smiling. I liked Kolulu very much of course, but it was different with how I felt with Tia…I rolled my eyes. "I love you."
"What?" Tia said with a faraway look in her eyes.
"Tia!" I laughed, and I wrapped my arms around her again.
Tia began to sniffle. "Zatch!" She hugged me too. She layed her head on my shoulder and started to cry. I could feel her warm tears damping my clothes.
I didn't know what to do. I patted her on the back awkwardly, wondering if I was supposed to say anything.
It was getting late. Regretfully, I said," Oops, I gotta go now. Bye."
Tia's eyes looked a little glazed. "Bye, Zatch…"
"Bye!" Nervously, with my heart pounding, I kissed her on the cheek.
I ran into the castle. Zeon stared at me. "Something good happened today, Zatch?" he asked.
"I guess…" I said, remembering Tia. "Why do you ask?"
My twin brother shrugged. "Dunno. You just look really happy," he said, walking away.
I stared out the window. Something good did happen today. I hope Tia loves me too.
The End.
Okay….I know this wasn't very good. Sorry!
