Located in Africa is the luxiorous Pride Lands. Atleast they were luxiorous, untill Scar became king. The old king was Mufasa, and was the beloved mate of Queen Sarabi. They had only one heir, Simba, who was only a cub. Scar was the brother of Mufasa, and was jealous to be king. He had sent Simba into a trap ; A wildebeast stampede. He warned Mufasa and they arrived only to find Simba hanging on a branch above hundereds of stampeding impala. Mufasa jumped into the chaos, saving Simba, who was placed on a rock. Mufasa tried to get up to him, but slid back down. Suddenly, Scar appeared, placing his claws into his brother's, and letting go. The king fell to his death. Simba did not see Scar kill Mufasa, and blamed himself for his father's death. Scar told Simba to "Run away, and never return," and Simba did as his uncle said. When he was out of sight, he commanded three hyenas to finish him off. Meanwhile, Scar returned to Pride Rock, implying that a "new era will begin, where hyena and lion come togethor to form a brand new future". Slowly, the kingdom became a horrible place. The hyenas had ate all of the food, and Scar forced the lionesses to overhunt. The land was dry and was waterless. Scar was thrilled, but Sarabi was saddened.
