I'll Always be here for you…
Yugi sat in his room as he pondered on why he was feeling so down in the dumps. Maybe it was because his best friend had left him…Maybe it was because he hadn't seen his friends in a while. Ever since the Pharaoh left, Yugi had spaced himself from his friends. He didn't know why, he just felt like he needed to be alone.
He got up off of his bed and got into his pajamas, ready to go to bed, when all of a sudden, the phone rang.
"Hello?" Yugi asked.
"Hey there Yugi! Where have you been? I haven't seen you for the past 2 weeks…" came Téa's voice over the phone.
"Sorry Téa, I've just had a lot of things going through my mind…" Yugi said, laying down on his bed.
"I know you miss the pharaoh Yugi, but he's gone now…There is nothing you can do…" Téa said.
"I know Téa…I'm sorry…So what was it you needed?" Yugi asked, sighing.
"I wanted to know if you could go with me to the park tonight…It's a beautiful night…"
Yugi looked over at his clock. It read 7:30.
"Sure Téa…Let me get some decent clothes on… Meet me in the front of my house in 15 minutes" Yugi said, rushing to his drawer to find some clothes.
"Ok…See ya later then!" Téa said.
Yugi hurried and got ready. 15 minutes later, he was waiting outside for Téa. Suddenly Téa came running up.
"Sorry I'm late Yugi! I had to help clean up at my house!" Téa said through heavy pants.
"No…That's quite alright…Let's go!" Yugi said.
They walked to the park.
"It's pretty nice out…Don't you think?" Téa asked.
"Sure is…" Yugi replied, quickly taking hold of Téa's hand.
Téa looked down and saw Yugi's hand clasped in hers. She blushed madly. As soon as they got to the parks largest hill they let go and sat down.
"Thanks for inviting me Téa…This walk has been relaxing…" Yugi said, gently placing his hand on top of her hand.
"No problem…" Téa replied, blushing.
"Téa…Thank you for worrying about me…I am truly sorry for pushing you aside just because I lost the pharaoh…Thank you for being my friend and always being there and supporting me in all I do…" Yugi said, turning to Téa.
"Don't worry Yugi…I'll always be here for you…" Téa said.
"Thank you Téa" Yugi said, leaning forward and placing his lips onto hers.
