Yeah , hey guys! I decided to write this quick little one-shot after skimming through the manga once more. I mainly wrote this because I wanted to express my theory about Noah and what he is. Basically, I was staring intently at the book, analyzing every single little word...and I noticed something shocking that I haven't noticed before in around chapter 82 pages 8-18 (What the soul dictates). If you wanna check it out, please do so. Unless you've discovered this already. I mean, I can't believe I didn't. It makes SO much sense, all the little hints that Lord Death gives as well as TOC.
Yeah.
Onwards!

Disclaimer: I do not own Soul Eater or anything accosiated with it.

He paced back and forth in front of the mirror, his spiky black stature bouncing as he did. Glancing into the mirror, he took note of the long crack down the left side of his white skull mask.

"Kiddo's finally awakening . . . it's not long before he connects all three. . . " he mumbled to himself. He should have been overjoyed, and he was. It was just that . . . he knew only one death god was allowed to exist at a time. Sometimes, it scared him.

Lord Death. Shinigami. Grim Reaper. Call him what you want, the result is the same. He was supposed to know these things. He was supposed to know everything. But sometimes, even he wanted to forget. He wanted to forget what would have happened to Kiddo if they hadn't found him. He wanted to forget Kid's troubled face when he arrived into the Death Room. Yes, he was a Shinigami, but he was also a father. A dad.

Sometimes, he wants so badly to tell Kid what's going on, but at the same time he wants to shield Kid from everything. He wants him to live out a childhood and stop growing up so fast. Most of all, he wants to see him smile again.

However, the biggest problem on his mind now, as he paced around the Death Room, was Noah. A collecting machine, Kid had said.

Well, he's partially right, he thought to himself.

Noah is a machine, all right. Not any kind of mechanical machine, no. Noah is a creation of The Book Of Eibon itself. The one everyone had seen was the Noah created from the Chapter Of Greed. That explained his need for collecting everything without a reason. His need for power. His need to be a God.

"His need for madness." The black mass that was Shinigami, Lord Death, The Grim Reaper itself wandered around The Death Room before stopping at the tall black mirror located in the exact centre of the podium. Kid would have had a fit if it wasn't.

You see, Noah was created to carry out certain tasks. Accomplish certain jobs. He had gotten a hold of brew. He knew that, this big spiky mass that calls himself Death. The chapter of greed…the statue of greed…all created the being that is Noah. He wanted everything, he wanted to own everything. But that's it. There was nothing else to it. This is the sin of greed.

He knew that. He knew what The Book Of Eibon was capable of. And yet . . .

His mind wandered, this great power's. One of the great ones, as The Book Of Eibon states.

"Noah . . . what chapter will be next, mm? Will it be . . . rage?"

Yeup. I hope you got it. This theory explains why Noah was able to be brought back to life, so to speak . . . I feel kind of slow, though, for not noticing. Did anyone else?
So yeah, I think Noah is a creation of Eibon, made from each chapter. This is because before he is brought back to life, TOC says something about "The statue of rage," and after that, the first thing he does is yell at Gopher.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed :) Review, please. It would be much appriciated.
