Aneko: Howdy do
Aneko: Howdy do. It had been a while, ne, minna-san? Well here is another Naruto fanfic. Kinda short, yes, but I got this idea a while back. Sadly, since I waited so long to write it, I don't think it turned out quite like I pictured it. Written from the combined POV of Sakura and Naruto.

Inevitable?
From the beginning, it was clear you had a dream that would send you down a path very different than both of ours. Was it decided from the beginning, then, that such a path would send you into more darkness?
Who knows when things first really began to change? It may have been when you saw Itachi again; or maybe it was the first time we saw Orochimaru.
In the end, we did go our separate paths, you down yours, and we down ours. We all were apprenticed to the very legendary sanin who had shared a similar fate, to be separated and fight the betrayer.
Was this also inevitable?
But it would seem that even if it was we won't-can't-accept that. We're trying as hard as we can to bring you back, and we won't rest until we do, or die trying. No matter if you try to kill us over and over, we'll come back again and again to force you back.It may seem absurd to you, but to us it is not. After all, how can we be Team 7 without the famous Sasuke Uchiha? We can't. It's just not possible. Even if you ignore us like you never knew us, we remember how we used to get along, and have fun together.
We just can't give up. If we found out we weren't strong enough when we faced you, we would grow stronger, and face you again, until you came back.
Sometimes we think about you, and talk about you. We can't believe you left, and we wonder what you're thinking. Do you ever think of us?
It was disappointing because it felt like you had just been starting to talk more, and trust us more, when you changed. Suddenly, the Sasuke we knew was gone, replaced by some stranger in Sasuke's place.
We've tried, and failed, to bring you back, but we can't lose hope.
We will bring you back.
Because this…
We know…
And are certain…
…is inevitable.
Aneko: Tadah. What do you think? Random idea I got from looking at the title page of one of the chapters in book one or two (I forget which). Naruto is represented by a frog, Sakura by a slug, and Sasuke by a snake. Premonition or what? Anyway, that's where I came up with this.
