Hi everyone, Atticus here again. I wanted to thank everyone who reviewed and faved me, it means the world to me! So this is a much shorter, lighter piece, but I hope everyone enjoys it just as much.

This goes out to my dearest darling love, my muse and editor, the utterly fabulous Kiki, I'm nothing without you, my darling!

-Nothing is mine, you already know-

Logan loves a lot of things that people don't understand. He loves math and chess and cauliflower, he loves the newspaper and talk radio. He loves to curl up with a long book on a cold day with a mug of herbal tea and his grandmother's quilt. His friends don't always understand him, but they take it as just a part of Logan being Logan.

Carlos loves a lot of things people think are crazy. He loves noise and chaos and adventure, he loves adrenaline rushes and huge roller coasters. He loves to play tricks and wrestle and get into fights. His friends all think he's nuts, but they love him because he's got spirit.

Logan is mature. He can sit and enjoy peaceful silence, he can hold rational conversations with adults. He enjoys theater and classical music and he can stay awake through a ballet.

Carlos is a ball of energy. He can make anyone laugh, he can convince anyone to do anything. He enjoys talking and playing and staying up until dawn.

They don't seem like a match at all. They don't appear to have anything in common, but the people closest to them know that there was never any pair more meant to be.

Carlos makes Logan laugh. He shows him that sometimes it feels good to be silly and that sometimes being outside beats staying home. He lets Logan know that it's okay to cut loose now and then, and it doesn't take away from how smart he is if he succumbs to the urge to laugh out or play hard or let go.

Logan makes Carlos think. He shows him that having a brain doesn't immediately make you boring, and that sometimes the best things have to be worked for. He shows Carlos the deeper meanings behind the little things and that sometimes, it's more rewarding to listen than to speak. Logan proves to Carlos that growing up will be alright, because Logan's alright, and he's more grown up than anyone else Carlos knows.

They make each other better, stronger, more diverse. They play off of their differences and balance each other out. They are completely in love, and their friends may not understand them and call them crazy, but nobody can deny that together, they make perfect sense.

When they make love, it's sensitive and sweet. They aren't afraid to laugh or to lay still. They kiss and smile and take their time, knowing there isn't any need to rush. They memorize the taste and feel and sounds and looks of each other, bringing passion to a slow boil. They breathe and move as one, a connection so intense they can't look away, eyes locked together as the pulse of desire beats through them in a steady crescendo until they crash, falling together with laughter as the tension ebbs out of them, and they lay together in the afterglow in easy quiet.

Logan and Carlos are two halves of the same crazy, misunderstood whole. When they are together, their sum is greater than their parts. Their love lets them share what is best about them and conquer their weaknesses. In love, Logan and Carlos are made perfect.
