Bruising Debates
Sam hit the ground hard and face first. He heard Dean take two shots at the shifter and then the thump of a body hitting the ground.
Sam tried to push himself up, but his body ached and his arms refused to support his weight.
"Hey, there, slow down." Dean's voice drifted into Sam's ears as strong hands reached over to examine his little brother.
"Okay, nothing broken, but you are going to be many shades of black and blue tomorrow."
Sam groaned. "Black only has one shade."
Dean grinned and carefully pulled Sam up. "Guess we'll test that tomorrow."
