Canada's House, July 1, 2011, 11:59 PM
Matthew smiled to himself as he lay in his bed. It had been, as Gilbert would put it, an awesome day. Everyone had remembered him today. For once in his life, he was recognized! Especially by Gilbert, though getting into that may not be the best idea right now.
Of course, he wasn't the only one with a birthday today. Hong Kong and Canada have the same birthday, so they just celebrated the two together.
The Bad Touch Trio had put together, along with Alfred. Without Gilbert, Matthew wouldn't have had a party. Though Hong Kong still would…
Matthew sat up when he heard a sharp tapping sound on his window. Grabbing his glasses and sliding them up the bridge of his nose, he saw Gilbert siting outside of the window. With his glasses on, he could see Gilbert mouthing, "Birdie."
Matthew rushed over to the window and opened it. "Gil-?"
"Wasn't yesterday awesome?" the albino asked, smiling brightly as he looked up at the Canadian who had just celebrated his 144 birthday as an independent nation.
"Yeah… you should come in so you don't fall, Gil," Matthew added as an afterthought and stepping aside to let the former country in.
"I'm way too awesome to fall, you know that," Gilbert replied, but still stepping in and smiling at the Canadian.
Canada smiled. Yeah, it was awesome birthday, wasn't it?
America's Summer Home Cottage Thing, July 4, 2011, 6:31 PM
Alfred smiled as he looked around at all of the nations that had come to his party. Not just a party a bash, was more like it. Though someone was missing. Only one nation hadn't shown. It was the same every year.
Why won't he just come for once? Alfred wondered as he ate his hamburger.
"What iz it zat you are thinking about?" Francis asked. In a lower tone, he asked, "Arthur, maybe?"
"What?" the American asked. "Why would I think about him at a time like this?"
"I can tell by ze look in your eyes."
"Daddy!"
Alfred turned around to see Hawaii standing there in an orange dress with a white flower print all over it. She really was starting to look like a teenager, Alfred noticed. All of his states were growing up on him.
"What is it, sweetie?" Alfred asked as he stared at the girl who appeared about fourteen.
"Dad, come with me! I have something to show you!" Hawaii grabbed one of her father's hands and pulled him to the garden in front of the large cottage.
"Hawaii—where are you taking-?"
Alfred stopped dead in his tracks when he saw England. His eyes widened. His mouth also opened as if he intended to say something, but no noise came out.
"Well, are you going to come over here or not?"
Alfred just gaped at England, not even noticing that Hawaii had slowly backed away and to the backyard. Then, the American smiled. "England!" he yelled as he ran towards him and engulfed him in a bone crushing hug. "You came!"
What America wanted… happened. England had come.
That's all he asked for.
Hey! Okay, so I was going to do another little part at the beginning for Hong Kong, but if I want to get this posted in time, then I can't. (Dang!)
Yes, for those of you who don't know, Hong Kong's birthday is also July first. So, yeah.
About the intro to Alfred's part, I didn't'[t know if I should put cottage, summer home, or summer mansion. He sometimes lives on a lake side in the summer… at least in this one shot he does.
Okay, so was it good? It was rushed, I can tell you that. How about this: Was it good for being rushed?
Thanks for reading! Happy Fourth of July~ WHOOOOOOOOO! (Starting to get hyper, YEAH!)
