He shone so brightly.
The first time Hanatarou had seen him, he had been amazed at his strength and his ability to light up the dark hopelessness that had caught him when he had been informed of Rukia's transfer to the tower of penitence. Ichigo had been so determined, so strong, and Hanatarou could only wonder what he had done to deserve such a wonderful person.
There was life and joy and laughter now in his life, where there had only been indifference and work before.
And everytime he could bring Ichigo to smile, he marvelled at his overwhelming light.
