Curry Shop
Lu Larue was not a happy woman at the moment. Not only had she woken up to discover that her partner come rival had vanished, but he seemed to have taken her wallet as well. And she had a good idea of where the idiot was going to be.
Her footsteps echoed in the quiet streets, sounding much louder than they should have. Her eyes were fixed on the floor, and her thoughts were spinning round the place. She couldn't really get a measure on John Elegadine. Everytime she thought that she was beginning to understand him, he went and did something that would take her by surprise. And then there was the fact that he was the master thief named Silver Wing, even if he didn't seem to realise that it was him everyone was talking about. Or maybe he did…prehaps his idiot persona was just a disguise.
But…just possibly, she reflected, as she dragged him out of the curry shop by his headband, he really was an idiot after all.
