A girl walked into a plain white room. There was a plush red chair and she sat down in it. The cushion was hard, but she shifted her skinny-jeaned legs. Her tan Uggs clunk together as she placed her well-manicured hands on her knees. She rolled her pink-framed eyes, why did Piper send me here? She thought. Moments later, her question was answered A tall blonde girl walked through the door. The first girl's tan nose crinkled in disgust.
"Who let the dog in?" She asked her brown eyes cold.
"Say that again and I'll make your bones shatter one by one and then I'll slowly implode your brain," The blonde girl snarled.
"You can't do that!" The tan girl snapped, flipping her dark brown hair as she stood up.
Crunch. The blonde girl smiled cruelly. The first girl, an Asian, whirled; her hot pink ruffled tank top moving with her. As the chair she was just sitting on fell, the other legs splintered. Crunch crunch crunch. Startled, she turned back to the blonde. Her hand glowed, and a beam of light shot from it. A large crunching noise sounded, and the Asian's dark hair swished as she turned back around. Instead of a chair, there was a cloud of smoke that billowed upwards.
"Um… I'm Drew. You really don't want to hurt me," Drew explained, honey dripping into her voice.
"I'm Kitana and I really do," She smiled deviously, her white teeth sparkling.
Drew was confused. No one except children of Aphrodite could charm-speak, and this ugly-as-dirt girl was obviously not her half-sister.
Her head spun, "No, you really don't."
Kitana's hand moved slightly and Drew almost cried out as she felt her wrist break, but she managed to steel herself.
"I can do that to every one of your bones multiple times. I can burn you to a pile of ash, or melt or implode your brain. I can do much more as well without even touching you," Kitana growled, moving her hair back.
Another flick of her hand, hand Drew felt no more pain in her wrist.
"But, I'm not going to, because you're going to help me," She sounded bored. "Valkyrie said you can convince people to do things for you?"
Drew nodded slowly, not knowing who Valkyrie was and not really caring.
"Good. I can a little, but not that much," She frowned, which did nothing to help her ugliness in Drew's opinion.
"I'm going to help you?" Drew scoffed, and this time she did cry out as several places in her arm cracked.
"Yes, you-" Kitana was interrupted as two people suddenly appeared at Drew's side.
"Sorry, but we can't let you use her," Percy Jackson said, "You see, we were hoping you would kill each other."
"Obviously Kitana, You're just going to kill her," Fletcher Renn pointed out, taking Drew's unhurt hand.
"You can't just-" Kitana moved to stop them and immediately got drenched by a torrent of water.
"Yes, actually, we can," Replied Percy, and by now Drew was smiling.
"We'll be back," Fletcher grinned, and then all three of them disappeared.
Kitana let out a roar of frustration and the small table in the room disintegrated. Her anger was suddenly disrupted as six people suddenly appeared in the room. Kitana froze. She of course knew Valkyrie, Skulduggery and Fletcher, but not other people. They were joined by the boy from before who was now holding a bronze sword, a blonde girl wielding a knife and a muscular blonde boy holding a – was that gold? – sword.
Outside, Drew turned to the girl healing her arm, "Did you see his hair?!"
