It was only noon but they had spent all day like this: settled on the couch, their bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces. Nagato was sitting upright in the corner of their couch while his legs were stretched out in front of him. Khana, his girlfriend, was being held in his lap by Nagato's arms about her waist, her knees bent, and her feet nestled between his knees.

In the midst of the wrapping paper obstacle course scattered over the living room floor and the couple's presents to each other, Junior was wrestling Okami for the elder's new horse bone treat. And losing badly.

Khana sighed, snuggling deeper into Nagato's embrace, if that was even possible. She held her arm out in front of her, happily admiring her new diamond tennis bracelet for a while. "I want to do this again," she hummed, moving her arm back to her waist and laying it over Nagato's.

"We're only doing christmas once a year," he reminded her, chuckling dryly.

"I know," Khana said. "I want to do this again."

Feeling Nagato's gaze on her, Khana twisted sideways and tilted her head up to meet his eyes.

He silently watched Khana until she got fidgety, though she wouldn't look away, before leaning down and touching his nose to her temple - his special kiss. "I love you, too."
