I Fell in Love With the Wolf Prince Koga

Introduction
Serena was born a wolf demon but at birth, she looked very human. So her parents in an act of love abandoned her at a human village fearing that she would be killed by other members of the wolf pack. It was the hardest decision they had ever had to make leaving their pup behind in a human village to be raised by strangers. They couldn't bare the thought of losing her due to her looks and since the current wolf population was large any pup with a deformity was being killed to keep the pack strong. Her parents only stayed in the village long enough to see her discovered and brought in by the couple they had chosen to care for her.
The couple was older and childless her parents had heard the woman many nights praying for a baby. When the woman discovered their pup on her doorstep the woman burst into tears exclaiming that her prayers had been answered. Her husband not wanting to take his wife's joy and dream of being a Mother away agreed to keep the baby. Serena was raised and loved by her adoptive human parents, who couldn't have any children of their own. They raised her to be a good housewife and mother.
At some point in her development, they realized that she wasn't aging at the same rate of the other human children. They traveled with her when she was young to a healer far away who promptly told them that while she looked human she was, in fact, a demon with some sort of genetic defect. The healer offered to end the child's life advising the parents she'd never fit in as a human or with the demons as she would age differently. They promptly refused and took their child home knowing that it was very likely that they would die before she was old enough to care for herself.
Since the couple was slightly older when they had discovered her as an infant on their doorstep they died when she was equal to a ten-year-old human child. From then she was barely surviving on her own. The village had figured out there was something wrong with the child as she didn't age like she should. Many who knew the parents didn't want anything to do with her thinking she had been cursed by the kami's or a witch. None wanted to risk getting involved with the child once her parents died and most prayed for someone to take her away from the village securing their safety from whatever evil curse had been placed on the girl.
Serena was eventually taken in by Naraku, she had no clue about why he wanted her but she was glad he did. He had visited the village and had seen her the villagers had begged him to take her off of their hands. Claiming that she was cursed and that she was the reason their crops were failing. She was happy to go with Naraku she didn't know him but he promised her that her life would be better if she went with him. Although she quickly found out that he was mean and evil. He did make sure that she had food, clothes, and a roof over her head as well as an education.
Serena's now 15 years old in human years, and she had grown quite beautiful over the years. Now finally looking more like a young woman than a child. He had made sure to have her learn a few skills like cleaning, making beds, and setting the table as he made everyone earn their keep. Under Naraku's direct orders she learned how to fan dance for him, since it seemed to calm him down, and help him relax. She wasn't allowed to learn any fighting skills and often given lessons on manners and how to behave like a proper lady. Not that she was ungrateful but she hated some of her lessons and often thought of running away but she had seen what happens when you try to escape Naraku.
