Eragon felt his ears wearily as he stepped into the dormitory. The Agaeti Blodhren had transformed him almost entirely into an elf, with the effect of his dragon on him too. The dorm was dark, yet he could see perfectly fine with his elf sight.
He knew elves are stronger than humans and he longed for the time when he had been a human. This Dragon Rider life had really changed him, both physically and mentally. He begin to smell and see things he couldn't have when he still possessed human qualities. Yet now, he had many years that lie ahead of him. Saphira stuck her head through the window. Stop brooding about it, Eragon. You'll have to undergo these changes, even without the agaeti blodhren she said, looking unblinkingly at Eragon.
Eragon threw himself onto the bed and took out the puzzle again. He looked at the eight pieces and within five seconds solved it again. He placed it beside his bed, thinking hard. "It changed. Now I had an elf's speed, an elf's strength, an elf's sight, an elf's senses and many more I can't name. Perhaps its a good gift, but I just can't sleep... because the elves don't sleep much and this affects me as well!" He grumbled.
