This is something I just wrote for fun.
I didn't even know who the characters were at first.
let me know if you think I should continue!
She was trying really hard to focus on reading this book for her psych class, but for some reason she couldn't focus to save her life.
'This was college,' She always put so much pressure on herself. It helped distract her from everything else.
It wasn't like her life was a train wreck. She just had an interesting childhood to say the least and wanted to live in the now. Even if that "now" was sitting in the library going over her psychology notes over and over.
He watched her from afar. He noticed her every action. The way she taped her pencil against her book constantly. How her bright blonde hair kept falling in front of her face as she tried to swipe it away.
He wanted to go up to her so bad. Or at least for her to look up and see him. '
'Or would that be embarrassing?' He thought to himself, 'I'm just some creepy guy staring at her.'
She looked up. There was a guy about her age, glancing her way.
She had no idea what to do now. She'd never been "checked out" or "hit on". If he came over to her she'd it would possibly be the most embarrassing moment of her life.
He smiled.
'Oh god,' she thought 'He's so cute.'
Without even thinking, she smiled back.
'Did she just smile back?' A grin on his face.
He was going to go over there. He stood tall and walked over to the table she was sitting at.
"Hi." He said sort of awkwardly.
"Uh...hi." She was blushing.
"I don't mean to freak you out or anything, but I noticed you were studying for that psych test and I was wondering if we could...you know help each other out." He had no idea how he said any of that.
"Sure." She said, rather sweetly, "I'm Sophie Sheridan by the way."
"I'm Sky." He shook her hand, "It's great to meet you."
They both smiled at each other, letting there hands stay connected.
I really enjoyed writing it.
Don't know where I'm going with it though.
let me know what ya think!
