Long and sensual the strides could have been that of something utterly feline, one heeled toe landing and sliding gracefully onto the pointed edge of its cousin with each step. The pumps alone were gorgeous, but with the long, silken legs that grew from them and onto the breathtaking form of his partner. Her walk is powerful but understated, her hips swaying gently with each step, the clingy green dress she's wearing today shifting lightly over the amazing curve of her waist.

Her eyes catch his from the end of the hall, her motion and look seeming to exude a sexiness he couldn't quiet pin to one feature alone. Unable to draw his eyes away he noticed the glint in her aqua eyes, gaze drifting over the tiny freckles that scattered over her nose and cheeks, a light flush as though she were blushing tinting her cheeks.

Oh God

He gulped as she made it obvious that she was headed straight for him, if he could have without her noticing he would have loosened his collar and wiped his brow, but eyes dead set, they stared at each other.

"Cal?" no Lightman, no hey, just a sweet, vulnerable sounding, knee-wobbling Cal.

God she's adorable. No, sexy. Wait. What's the exact in-between of adorable and sexy?

She stared at him doe-eyed, a tiny smirk forming on her lips as she watched him think.

"Yeah?" he asked, trying desperately to brush off the arousal he knew would show in his voice and eyes. Think about Loker having sex. With a curt nod his mind was abruptly a clean slate.

"So, you know that memo you just sent out to everyone?" she put a hand on his chest, as though picking for a piece of lint, but letting her fingertips linger longer than necessary, "about returning the Policy of no candy in the work place- that it's too hard to clean up, being sticky and all?"

The fingers slid lower as she let her hand gently fall to her side.

His breath hitched.

"Eh, yeah luv, what about it?" he watched as slowly the smirk disappeared and for the one moment he could catch it, sadness and disappointment flicker over her features.

"Well, I think Emily will be disappointed." Her eyes glistened as she spoke, head tilted back slightly, and leaning distinctively towards the left.

"oh." He stopped to think as her had came up again to take hold of his and squeeze.

"It's okay; you just sent the e-mail out right? You can retract it in another one." She beamed at him, face stunning and reassuring, and her feminine features gentle and caring.

God she's gorgeous. Is that the middle?

"Okay Luv, I'll do that then." He nodded, voice unwavering though he struggled for composure.

"I think that'll make her happier." She smiled and let a hand slide down his arm, turning to leave just as she did so, stride still intact.

Reaching into her pocket as she walked away she pulled from it a watermelon dumdum, wrapper coming off easily and sliding back into her sweater's pocket with the same ease. The largest of smiles had planted itself on her face, eyes dazzling and smile drop-dead. Staring at the sucker she couldn't help but let out a tiny laugh. And he thinks I'm a bad liar.

Just as she brought the treat to her lips a rough, masculine hand grasped over hers, the entire appendage enveloped save for the lollipop.

"Nice try Luv." He smiled just as mischievously at her, taking the sucker from her smaller hand and walking past her. Whipping around, her hair flared around her shocked features, a barely audible "but" escaping her lips.

Turning to her as he walked backwards he sighed,

"Better luck next time" and with a glorious smile he settled the dumdum in between his lips and turned around, leaving her standing hopelessly in the hall, arms limp and mouth slack.

Definitely gorgeous.

A/N: hope you enjoyed!
