Danny Swervez and Chase Racelott were arguing over the phone. Recently, Chase had found out that Danny had a crush on the new girl. Cruz Ramirez.
"Come on dude, you love her so just admit it"
"No I don't love her, Chase I already told you I like Cruz but as a friend and nothing else"
"Nah, I've seen the way you look at her and how you always blush when she's talking to you and those are the signs that you have a crush on someone so just admit it"
"CHASE RACELOTT! IN THE NAME OF OCTANE GANE I LIKE CRUZ AS A FRIEND AND NOTHING MORE! DO YOU HEAR ME? NOTHING MORE!" Chase still wasn't convinced but he didn't show it.
"Alright, you win pal, you just like her as a friend and nothing else so I'll see you at the after party tomorrow" Chase said but in his head, he was planning to get Danny to admit that he loved Cruz Ramirez.
"Oh just wait Danny bro, this is one after party that you will never forget" Chase snickered.
The next day at the after party.
Danny rolled in and the racers stopped and looked at him and started whispering things about him.
"Is it true?"
"Maybe, I have seen Danny blush whenever Cruz is around"
"Will they ever get together?"
"The day they get together is the day that Cruz will win the Piston Cup"
"Cruz already has won the Piston Cup"
Danny was confused as he drove to where his friend Chase, Ryan Laney, Bubba Wheelhouse, and Flip Dover were.
"Hey Danny, look who's here" Flip said and it turns out Cruz was there as well. Danny blushed the most he ever had and every racer in the room saw it and was taking pictures of the blushing purple next gen.
"H-hey Cruz" Danny said still blushing while he took his seat.
"Hey Danny" Cruz winked at the purple next gen which caused him to start sweating.
"So, you got something you wanna confess?" Ryan asked with a smirk and Danny wasn't sure what he was talking about.
"Come on Danny, I'll admit it to everyone in this room right now" Cruz said as she got up. The next gens watched her. "Everyone! I have a crush on Daniel "Danny" Swervez and if he would just admit it, maybe we could go on a date sometime?" Cruz said and now Danny was really tempted to say it then finally, he lost control of his feelings and sped up to the stage and gave Cruz a kiss on the lips. Wolf whistles and cat calls were heard.
"I knew it! I knew it!" Chase said, doing donuts. Danny and Cruz took no notice and just enjoyed their moment of realization that they loved each other. It was the best after party that anyone had been to.
