I should have listened to Myrtle when she said that "there was a handsome young lad in here crying over his love" but did I? No never because to tell you the truth that girl is just nutty. She did say that he was in my year and that he was tall but never did it strike me that it could be that son of a bitch the one to steal Hermione from the Gryffindor's, from the Golden trio, and most importantly from me; but I guess that's how these things work out and maybe had I listened I would not be as surprised as I am now that he is proposing to her on stage, in front of everyone, in front of his father. He has put everything aside just so that he could be with her and even now the love can be seen flowing between the two. She said yes. Everyone is cheering I guess we have all been waiting with baited breath for several years because I don't think that anyone ever doubted that even though they hated each others they cared even more deeply. They don't have to hide because the Dark Lord is gone and no matter how happy I will be for Hermione I will always loathe him.
Six Months Later
At first I was resentful of him because I thought that he had stole my Hermione, but he hadn't she was still the same girl as she had always been just now openly in love. I am the man standing in the corner with my lovely fiancé and carrier of my child, tomorrow night Hermione will be married and I will still be engaged with the ex-flame of her husband and soon enough I will be married but for now I celebrate that my best friend is getting married to my once rival and now good friend. The pub is crowded as we wish the future Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy good luck in their future endeavors.
