Morghen's pairing, by the way :D
You said you'd take no prisoners
But that's just what you did
You took my heart captive
Hope you know that you are missed
Welcome To Wherever You Are
(Ten Second Epic)
Evil was the only word you could think of to describe it. Well, that and pain. It was weird. Had someone told you that this was what you were going to become, you probably would have hexed him or her into oblivion. It's a pity that that's exactly what you were. You were pathetic, and if your family knew, they would probably disown you. And considering you're a Weasley, that's quite a statement in itself.
It amazed you that someone so horrid – so hateful – could be so… alluring. How could someone that screamed vile be everything that you ever wanted? Of course, Bellatrix wasn't everything you'd ever wanted, just close to it. She was strong, independent and she was different. Pity she lacked, you know, s a n i t y.
What's more? She was the reason why you were writhing on the floor in pain. Damn her and her Cruciatus curses. She was planning on killing you – you know that. So why the hell don't you hate her? Any normal person would hate someone that tried to kill them. Why not you?
"I don't take prisoners, Weasley," she hissed; and then, cackling, she waved her wand in the air like a trophy. "You are going to die."
She did take prisoners though, didn't she? Only one, though. And she lies in her grave now, because when your mother flung that killing curse, she didn't just take the witch's life – because dear Bellatrix took your heart with her, and now where is it? It's sitting somewhere beneath all this earth, never to be found again.
You lost, Charlie. Oh, you know it. She's gone. She left you, and she took a part of you with her. You're probably – okay, a lot more than probably – the only one that misses her, because she was evil, and don't you forget it.
You didn't lose a thing. She wasn't worth your time anyway. So go and mourn your brother's death, and not hers. That's how it's meant to be. So just give up. Get over her. You know what? She's dead and gone. You'll never see her wild hair, or find the strength to look her in the eye, again. You'll never need to. She's gone - thank Merlin for that, right? I mean... how important is love, really?
Go, Charlie, go. Oh, and remember... you didn't lose a thing, you really didn't.
