Only for a Second – Oneshot
I glance over for the millionth time today, he still doesn't notice. All I really want is for him to speak to me the way he talks to them. His so called best friends Ron and Hermione. I look back to Snapes demonstration. Just another passing day where he hates me and I watch wanting to be looked at and for him to care.
An hour later I am watching him leave the room. My heart feels heavy. I decide to follow him today just for a few minutes. His friends head a different way for once. I speed up and get a little closer and then it happens.
BAM – I trip and fall flat on my face. He turns around, I expect him to start laughing.
"Draco are you ok,?" He asks.
I am unable to reply I am shocked that he didn't just burst in to laughter.
"Do you need to see the nurse?"
"N-No I am fine," I managed to stutter.
"Actually I have something to say, I have been wanting to say it since last week".
"Sure just say it."
"I have noticed you looking at me, a lot but its only for a second, Then you turn away."
Gulp – My face turns bright red. Oh god he noticed.
"I know this is a really sudden question and I know it can't be true but, Do you like me?" He asked.
"Yes," I say it just to get it over with. I just want him to laugh it off and forget about me looking at him.
"Oh," he smiles, "I like you to."
….
"Are you ok," he asks?
"Huh," I look up.
"You just fell and seemed out of it," He said
"I am fine Potter, Why don't you go play with Weasley and that little mudblood," I snarl to hide my embarrassment. I had imagined to whole thing. I guess I am that desperate for his attention and I can't even keep reality straight.
"Whatever Draco." He storms off.
"Dammit," I mumble why can't I just tell him how I feel. I just want to know what he would think of me if only for a second.

Sorry about this one shot being a little boring I am trying to write again after a 2 yr break. My old account I cant access any more so I logged into this one from several yrs ago. I will be transferring my old stories from old accounts to this one. So if you look through my stories and see one that you have read before its from my old accounts and not stolen.
