Hi. guys! So excited to post my first story here!

Been a fan of this show and couple since I was a todler!

Hope, you'll like it.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Mornings in London are depressing and cold. No jogs in tiny shorts, no smell of ocean around and no endless vitamin D, for sure.

Everything is strange. She's a stranger. Here. To those who she left behind. She's a stranger to herself, most importantly. Cute and innocent bangs are gone now. That childish chubby cheeks are now replaced with these sharp cheekbones, that if you touch them, you'll might get a cut.

She just needed to know that she's wanted and loved. She needed someone to have her back. Someone to give her a hand.

Why did he let go? Why didn't he stop her?

Maybe he would have stopped that girl with cute bangs. But that lassie is long gone.

That was one lovely girl who wanted to be needed.

Maybe that's for the best. I mean, for how long they would have run in circles?

But only If she could go back to the start.

Gosh, why this is so hard.

Brenda's thoughts were interrupted.

"Hey, Bren"

She must be dreaming. Brenda instantly started pinching herself.

"What are you doing, beautiful? Stop it" as Dylan wrapped her in his arms.

"It's okay" he whispered covering his nose in her gorgeous hair. How much has he missed her smell and how much has she missed his voice.

"What are you doing here, Dylan?" Finally she mumbled through tears. To what Dylan swore

"Grate, I made you cry!"

"It's not you. It's Christmas. Loneliness. And stupid memories got me all upset."

"Stupid, huh?"

"You didn't answer" she changes the subject. "Why are you here?"

"I'm here for you, Bren."

"I don't need you here."

"You don't mean that."

"I do. Now go."

"Hey, I went across, god damn, ocean to get to you."

"Yeah, well I went across it to get away from you."

"I shouldn't have let you go."

She's avoiding any eye contact, because it is hard enough for Brenda.

"But you have, Dylan, You let me go. The end. I got over it."

"Really?" He raised that eyebrow of his.

"Really" she has a devil in her eyes. Damn, those beautiful emerald eyes.

"You said you'll always love me"

"I did say that"

Now it's a staring contest.

"I loved you so much."

"But you don't anymore"

"I still do, but"

"But"

"We've messed up so badly. I've done some sick shit. And so have you, Bren"

"What are you saying, Dylan?"

"I'm saying, I wish we could go back. Back to the start."

"You know what, Dylan McKay?" She cuts the distance between them.

"What, Brenda Walsh" he echoes.

"Take me back to the start"
