Whilst re-waching episode six I was struck by a sudden thought during the bridge scene: With Aramis on the horse, and d'Artagnan and Porthos blowing stuff up, who is left holding the child? Here is a Tiny offering of what could have been going on behind the scenes.
"You cannot be serious."
"What else am I supposed to do with him? Leave him on the ground?"
"What am I supposed to do with it?"
"Well, what do you normally do with children?"
"Avoid them?"
"I'll rephrase. What does one normally do with children?"
"My answer remains unchanged."
"Athos, we do not have time for this! Those barrels with explode any-. Time to go!"
"I think that went rather well."
"Yeah, apart from the wasteful destruction of some pretty good brandy."
"It was hardly wasteful if it saved the boy's life."
"Not sure Athos would agree with you."
"…Porthos, if Aramis is on the bridge with Agnes, who's holding the baby?"
"…Lullee, Lullie, Oh little tiny child…"
"Athos, are you…singing?!"
"Hush, you'll wake him."
"What's going on? Is Henry alright?"
"Athos has turned nanny."
"Well, there is a sight I never thought I'd see. Our great leader, gone soft over an infant. "
