It began simply enough. As simply as it could at least. A simple, soft "I love you" had escaped his lips.

They were sitting, together, alone at the pier of destiny islands' hideaway for kids. They'd come to the spot for... well, it was their spot, after all. Here, all their memories had been born.
Here, they had blossomed. After all, here was where their tales with Kingdom Hearts had began.

"I love you" it was amazing how freely the words had flowed, and how still he became as he realized what he'd just said. "I love you." He tried to take it back, unsure, not of it, but of her.
Kairi. She had grown well, time only working to prefect her. He had to admit, more then a few times he'd caught himself staring, flushed and dumbfounded, at her. Her forever reaching legs. Supple young glistening skin. Radiant red hair, and deep blue gentle eyes.

Truth be told, he'd dreamed a divine dream on more the one occasion. Kissing her neck. Her back. Her... Well, a gentleman doesn't kiss and tell. Even if it was only a dream.
"I love you." He meant it, truly. None could stir his heart like Kairi. And, stupidly, he'd let it slip. And now, she knew.

She looked at him, eyes only slightly wide, lips gently parted, a soft stunned face. He wanted to run from this moment, those words, but his legs had turned to stone, and he sat, look at her, stunned himself and beet red at what he'd done.

Time passed, or so it seemed to him. Days must have gone by, surely, and still no reply. He dare not move, nor break his stare, lest she vanish on him.
Her lips closed. Curved, then pursed into a smile. She parted the single lock of red hair from her eyes, leaned up to his arm, shoulder, neck. His.. Face. His heart raced. Her breath was upon him, tickling his nose. He felt a silky warmth enter his palm, and realized it was hers.

She pressed forward, and gently, ever so gently, a kiss fell upon his lips.
It was greater then any magic he could have yield in combat. It encased him in warmth, mixed with her sweet fragrance. He could only close his eyes, and enjoy.

Deeper he feel into her entrancing lips, hungry for more of her supple lips brushing against his. He pressed back at her. Her lips parted, a gasp escaping. A few more seconds... then, they needed air. She broke away, a deep, playful smile on across her pink lips. She was trying not to laugh; he's kept going on without her for a little bit. He opened his eyes to her, and flushed.

"Silly boy." She said. "I already knew."

She leaned in again, and whispered. "And I love you too."

He received another kiss, and then he knew.

For the princess' knight, this love was simple and true.

Alright, a lot of people are probably gonna ask, who's the guy in this story. Well, I left it intentionally blank so you can swap whoever you want and I can be saved of Fangirl bickering.

I actually wrote this little story at 4 in the morning... after reading some lemons... in any case try not to get diabetes from this.

Oh and leave me a good review!- uni.
