Song of the Shire by Cordelia Buffy Greenleaf Potter
disclamer: i don't own LOTR or the Hobbits but theyre so cute!
Here's another new poem (the hobbits' POV during fellowship) I hope It's better than the other stories i did.
=================================================================================
The low-lying valley's gentle song
Brings forth memories so bright
Of fireworks and parties that
Continued long into the night.
The Shire's greenery and endless charm
Touches our hearts as we journey along
To distant lands of threat and harm
We sing of the Shire, so hope is not gone.
On that day when we finally return ,
Another celebration will begin.
For the other Hobbits will soon learn
Of the people we've met and the places we've seen.
And, smiling I will say:
I want to sleep now, no tales for today.
