Finding True Love
Author's note: This is SLASH! So if you are offended by SLASH, read no further. Also, please note that the characters in this story are the property of J. K. Rowling, not me.
Since this is my first attempt at writing slash, please be kind in your reviews. Thanks.
"So what did Cho say?" Ron Granger asked Harry Potter.
"She's already got a date for the party. How about Hermione?"
"She reminded me that I'm supposed to ask her sooner," Ron said. "She's going with Neville."
"Ouch," Harry said. "Rejected for Longbottom."
"Maybe its for the best. I've been thinking about something Harry. What if the reason we keep waiting until the last minute to ask the girls, is because we are not attracted to girls."
Harry considered Ron's words. "What do you mean?" he asked.
"What if we are in love with each other," Ron said. When he saw the horrified look on Harry's face, he added, "Things are different in the wizard world than the muggle world. Muggles are afraid of anything that they consider unnatural, so they hate the idea of boys loving other boys. But in the wizard world, everything we do is unnatural, at least to the muggles. So this sort of thing isn't a big deal."
Ron watched Harry's reaction in fear, afraid that he had just thrown away 5 years of friendship. But to his relief, Harry kissed him right on the mouth. Ron eagerly kissed back.
Another author's note: After the disaster of my first story, I decided to keep this short. That way if it posts as a blank document, I haven't wasted too much time.
