Prologue: History of the Old World
What is estimated about 13.4 billions of years ago when The Goddess known as Azna uses her golden sword to slash a star and bring forth, the known universe including Xanatos; the jewel of her creation.
From there, she created her realm, Zion, where the beings known as the Brights lived there and service the Goddess. A race of humanoid creatures with wings of different color wingtips. They can male or female due to the lack of genitalia alongside their sizes for they can be tiny, average, or Colossus. The Brights are the spirituals guardians of the living. Then, She created the Totems (animal spirit guides) and Wisdoms (humanoid spiritual guides). She builds a city, that only the spirituals beings can see, out of silver and the purities of the soul.
After the creation of Zion, she created the world and the beasts of the air, the seas, and the lands. Still feeling something missing, she created the First Woman and out of her womb; the First Man. For belief of humanity's protection, she created the first guardian known by title alone, The Zero Custro, The Shadow Father creating an Age of Custro.
However, the Shadow Father grew angst when the Goddess declared that woman is over man. Due to his craftiness, he convinces the man to eat a part of his flesh that is full of all the wickedness known to the Goddess. Then, Man raped Woman when he caught sight of her.
The Sky Mother caught wind of this and punished the Shadow Father to the darkest pits of the world becoming King of the Abyss of the world. She exiles out the First Man known as Ekagra and First Woman known as Aklima out of Eloo and cursed them.
As a precaution, she created twelve more guardians based upon the very animals that she created in Eloo. But, they were slowly corrupt and joins the Shadow Father and devour humanity as a source of food.
Having enough of this, the Goddess cause the world's waters to rise exponentially and wiped the corrupted guardians (except the Shadow Father) and all of creation with it. For 70 days and nights, the waters reduced to its original size leaving nothing but corpses and debris across the lands. This marks the end of the Custro era.
On the contrasty, 4466666666.67 millions of years ago, the Goddess recreated the animals and humanity. Seeing the mistakes of the past, she decided to send a group of brights, a totem, and a pair of Wisdoms (one male and one female) to each human.
Although these beings protect them in spirit only. About 900 millions of years ago, the Goddess decided to create unique guardian; one that transcends everything that the Custros failed to do. This guardian spent one lifetime in Zion learning all the qualities of good and in the next step of his path, he was born as a human.
From this point in time, he learned the qualities of evil, and sacrificed his humanity to be something else powerful and immortal; a Predator known The Gigantic marking the start of the Age of Predators.
As a million of years come and go, more and more of these special humans became Predators. They became too numerous that most begins to desire more power that they killed each other to consume their corpse as a booster of their power and rank, even some of them begins to think of themselves as living deities that they either killed or enslaved their former brethren; the humans.
Like the Custros, over time, they were closing themselves to a blink of extinction by other predators or humans. Until The Lion of Wisdom followed the command of his creator and created The Predator's Code displaying the true requirements to be one and the rules for Predators to follow. The Ones who think themselves as deities think that the Lion of Wisdom was grabbing power tried to kill him.
This failed, of course, and ushering a new chapter in the Age of Predators. For seeing that the Predators had returned to their original purpose, the Heavenly Mother send three totems (of the air, of the land, and of the sea) and two wisdoms to each predator and future Predators.
Sadly, the era of peace hasn't lasted long enough for the Shadow Father come back to erased mankind with his new creations; The Leviathans. For thousands of years, The Leviathans and Predators fought each other till the death of the Shadow Father by four lowest ranked Predators. The Dragonite: a human infused with dragon blood marking him an artificial made dragon with the ability to summon thunder with Stormcrusher (hammer), Stoneblocker (shield), and Skyterror (bow), The Warhound: a brown dragonian beast with the strength to cause earthquakes, The Wyvern: red skinned pteranodon liked creature that commanded the skies and breathes lava-like fire, and The Magi: a human with the wings of a butterfly that can control all types of magic.
For the remainder of the Age of Predator, the predators have fought all types of threats that have the potential to ended Humanity. Until a being came from the stars has come with the intentions of starting the apocalyptic by fire and wind. The predators fought the being but one by one, the being hunted and killed them all.
When the Dragonite fell in battle 75 millions of years ago, the Goddess gave him a second chance in life by becoming the next step of Predator hood becoming the first Titanus. The Dragonite became The First Titan, Gojira, Subete no monsuta no o with a weapon bestowed by the Goddess; The Eternal Flames of Destruction. He came back to life with an extreme undergoes of transformation becoming a 492-foot tall black dragon marking the start of The Age of Titans.
For about 8 millions of years, he fought the being to a stalemate until the Second Titan, Anguirus, Yama no kyoju appeared out of the ground and fought alongside Gojira. 2 millions of years later, the Third Titan, Rodon, Kasei no akuma joined the fight against the being. Half of the millions of years later, the Fourth Titan, Mosura, Monsuta no joo was the last to join the fight and driven the being to the frozen lands of Xanatos. They managed wounded him and imprison him.
The Goddess rewarded them for their efforts with the world, Gojira became King of the Eastern Seas and Islands, Anguirus became King of the Southern Mountains, Rodon became King of the Western lands, and Mosura became Queen of the Northern lights. As well of restarting the process of chosen humans becoming predators.
As time roam by, humanity begins to worship them as guardian monsters and given new names for them. Mosura became Mothra, (Queen of Heavenly Light and Bringer of Magic), Rodon became Rodan, (King of the Skies, The one born of fire, and the Phoenix), Anguirus became Angilleon, (the Warbull, King of the lands, and the Stampede Behemoth), and finally Gojira became Godzilla (King of Destruction, Heavenly Dragon, The Judge, Super Titan, the blood false dragon king, Conqueror of Dragons, and The Supreme One of all guardians). Together, they form as the First Ones or the Four Great Rulers. The being that was imprisoned by the Four is named as the Death Song of Three Storms. When the Four gathered together at the center of the world and decided to built Nazarick using the powers of the Goddess given unto them.
New predators emerge during their rule and the numbers of Titans have grown from four to 12. Formerly known as The Digger became the Fifth Titan, Baragon, King of the Beneath was the first predator to become a titan without death. Then, the Sixth Titan, Biollante, Mother of Life becomes the equals to the five titans. Next, the Seventh Titan, Battera, Queen of Witchcraft and Hellish Light and the Eighth Titan, Caesar, King of Lions and Dogs. The Ninth Titan, Kong, King of Apes come into power and often fights the First and the Third Titans. The Tenth Titan, Varan, Watcher of the Skies became one when he outwitted the Third Titan. The Eleventh Titan, Gamera, the Brave Defender of the Innocents and The Twelfth Titan, Manda, Queen of the Seas were the last to become leaders of the Predators.
The Age of Titans was the shortest period that lasted about 75 millions of years and as humans evolved from the defendant to the hunters of the Guardians as they created weapons to killed predators resulted in too few predators. One day, the Death Song of Three Storms freed himself due to the imprisonment became weakened. Once he was free, he attacked humanity once more and the twelve titans and all of the predators with all of Zion and the world fight against the great cataclysm bringer.
As a result of that battle, The Death Song of Three Storms was finally destroyed letting the whole world to be at peace. However, this was a hollow victory as humanity became endangered species, only forty-one of Predators and Titans survive marking them as close to extinction, and Zion was in an uproar as the Goddess perished.
The aftermath of this battle, the remaining predators or titans relabeled themselves the Ainz Ooal Gown Guild marking the end of the Age of Titans. They no longer have the drive to protect humanity since Zion has gone silent.
Within Nazarick, mostly all of the Titan/Predator survivors were creating beings that are both humanoid and non-humanoid in nature. Once they felt that they're finished creating them, they held a meeting about the future. All have decided to sleep for 40 million years and once the 40 million years is over, they will judge humanity whether or not that they're worth protecting. About forty of them left in search for a place to rest leaving only one to rest in Nazarick with thoughts of the future leaving the beings to watch over Nazarick until their so-called Supreme Beings come back.
This is what I think if Overlord characters aren't game players and I don't know for sure if the world is earth in the past, AU, or an alien planet so I make the name of the planet. If you read A Titan Lost, you will know what are Titans or Predators for that matter and spolider alert for A titan lost, their history is almost like that. Also the titans are Godzilla and his "friends" since I believe Godzilla as the overpowered being in the history of movies, comics, games, and etc. Don't worry, I only get rid of the players in AOG Guild, the NPCs of Nazarick won't be ridded by them otherwise it won't be Overlord.
