Grell grumbled to himself mad that Will would even dare to force a child onto him and a silly little girl at that. He finally came to Wills door. He stopped before knocking hearing voices inside mainly Wills a small child's whisper answered each question. Before Grell could hear what was going on the voices stopped and Will opened the door. Will stared down at the flaming red haired shinigamis face motioning for him to step into the office.
As he did a small young girl stood and courtsed silently. He looked her up and down. She had long curly deep reddish blonde hair, deep odd purple eyes and unusually pale skin. Will walked behind his desk and motioned for Grell to sit and began to speak. "Grell this is to be your apprentice. Her name is Annabeth Donner. She doesnt speak much so that should work for you I guess." Wills eyes looked from the new mentor to his silent apprentice waiting for someone to speak. " W-why do I need an apprentice I am perfectly fine by my self." Grells anger startled the youngling. ~ why is he mad I am not going to ruin anything plus if Will tells him to doesnt he have to obey?~ Annabeths thoughts were interupted by her new mentor and his boss arguing they kept getting louder it was starting to get annoying.
Grell walked ahead of the silent child fuming and mumbling to himself about how unfair this was. They reached Grells office and he pointed to an unused desk in the corner indecating it was hers. He hadnt spoken to her not once so she decided to talk first. " I am so very sorry if you are not pleased to have me as an apprentice but I promise to do as you say and protect you as much as possible." Her small voice sounded like wind chimes captivating him into listening to her. He felt embaressed that he could ever have been mad at this small young girl.
" Will you answer some questions about yourself for me?" Grell looked questioningly into her purle eyes." "Of course I will you are my senpai and i am to obey you. What would you like to know?" He had to pause for a moment. He asked the basic like how old are you, how do you know Will and so on. " I am 14, and I didnt know your boss at all he came to my boarding school and told me I was to be an apprentice." And so their relationship began. Forced mentor and silent apprentice.
