Today I interview Emperor Palpatine, also known as Darth Sidious (84 BBY - 4 ABY)

INTERVIEWER - Greetings, Lord Sidious. Do you mind if I ask a few questions? With your permission, of course.

DARTH SIDIOUS - I have lots of time. Ask whatever you wish, my boy.

INTERVIEWER - Thank you, Mr. Emperor. You have ruled the galaxy for the past few decades. How do you,
after 20 years, plan to avoid the political traps that eventually led to the downfall of the Republic?

DARTH SIDIOUS - By taking care of the citizens of the Empire. Take Coruscant for example. Unemployment
is almost non-existent. Crime has been eliminated. The local economy is doing great. A few pockets of
terrorist resistance still exist. However, my chief enforcer, Lord Vader, will deal with them in due time.
Their days are numbered.

INTERVIEWER - You mentioned your chief enforcer, Lord Vader. If you don't mind me asking, how's he working
out in his new job? He's not exactly his old self.

DARTH SIDIOUS - Lord Vader is working out just fine. He is slowly adjusting to his new situation.

INTERVIEWER - Very well. Your loyal subjects would like to get to know their emperor better as a person.
Do you like to travel? Aside from official business, I mean.

DARTH SIDIOUS - I love to travel within the Empire. My favourite places are here on Coruscant, as well as
my home planet of Naboo. I still have a retreat just outside the capital. I often go there to unwind and relax.

INTERVIEWER - Do you ever miss your old life? When you could enjoy some privacy? I can imagine that you
don't get very much privacy as emperor.

DARTH SIDIOUS - On occasion I do miss being able to walk around without being noticed by someone. However,
sometimes I do run into people that I once knew. Just a few weeks ago, on my last trip to Naboo, I came across
Jar Jar Binks, and old friend from before the Empire.

INTERVIEWER - Do you have any favourite foods?

DARTH SIDIOUS - Any soup or stew. I also like to drink coffee. I have literally tried hundreds of types of coffee
from over a dozen inhabited worlds. I like it black.

INTERVIEWER - I see you mainline coffee, I know a few people like that. Any favourite colour?

DARTH SIDIOUS - Bright yellow, like my eyes.
