Beg. (Jasmine's POV)

The gang and I were eating. Well they were eating, and I was cooking. Darry was working. I was in the kitchen when someone wrapped their arms around me. I looked down and saw Darry's hands. I turned around and smiled, "How was work?" He said, "It was good. Why aren't you eating babe. You can't cook for them and not eat." I said, "Go eat Darry. I'll be done cooking soon." Darry kissed me and said, "You better." I bought more food out for them. I sat next to Darry and started eating. The guys wanted to play football. I grabbed plates and brought them to the kitchen and watched them play while looking out the window. Somebody pulled me away from the dishes I saw Darry. He said, "come play." I smiled and said, Fine."

I was thinking about my parents. They used to fight all the time. I had a drawer filled of secrets and why I'm guarded. We walked out hand and hand to the lot. We played football and my team won. Darry wasn't happy, but the when I was kissing him, he was happy. I pulled him away from the guys and I pushed him on the fence in the lot and kissed me hard. Then we heard a yell, "Get a room you, filthy greaser." I pulled away and saw a Soc car. I yelled, "Get off our terrority you stupid soc." They sneered then left. Darry said, "I like it with your mad. It's sexy." Then he pushed me bac on the fence and kissed me.

We walked back, and we got some chocolate cake out. Then we went to bed. It was a quiet night because Pony and Johnny were with Dallas. Two-Bits went home, and Soda was with Steve. I was laying in bed with Darry and his clock hit 2:25am. I quietly got out of bed and walked to the kitchen and made some hot chocolate Darry came down and the clack said 2:30am. Darry said, "Where were you?" I said, "I wanted hot chocolate because I couldn't sleep." Darry

said, "Jasmine this isn't working. Everything is slipping right outta my hands. I should be playing attention to my brothers. I shouldn't be with you anymore." We fought and then I ran out crying and he followed me into the streets. I braced myself for the goodbye, because that is all I knew from my family.

But Darry took me by surprise and said, "I'll never leave you alone. Then he kissed me. A couple years later Ponyboy wrote a book about our life. Johnny and Dallas died. Pony and Darry got closer. Darry and I got married. Soda and Steve got married to Evie and some girl named Katie. Pony is an author. Darry got to teach little kids with being a football player. Some girls were there too. He still works as a house builder. Two-Bits become a Joke shop seller and joke book person. He still told jokes. Pony helped him publish the joke book. Soda got a job at some big gas station that was still in Tulsa. The DX closed, and that gas station opened. Soda and Steve became top mechanic there. Me well, I teach little kindergarten. They love me lots. I found out I'm pregnant now. I went to the doctors and they said I was going to tell Darry today. I was making chocolate chip cookies. Darry wrapped his arms around my tummy. I turned and said, "Darry I have something to tell you." He nodded. I said, "I found out today that I'm pregnant." Darry didn't say anything. Oh god. He doesn't want the kid. I was ready to walk away, and Darry grabbed my arm and hugged me, "I want the kid. That is awesome. I will always love you. Remember out vows." I nodded, and he said, "Do you know what it is?" I said, "It's a boy." He smiled.

(9months later) I had a baby boy. 8lbs and 2 ounces. He was 24 inches long. Darry I brought a Darryl Michael Curtis the 3rd into the world.
