The demon walked slowly through the snow, watching the green trees blowing in the wind. He had just defeated another demon and though he had won it had been a hard and gory fight. Both him and the grown were covered in blood. It disgussted him, that he would have to kill another of his own kind, his own brother. Zepar, he had killed Zepar and now it was over and he was on his way home to tell his parents that he had done it, that the blood covering him was not his and that he had gained the powers that he would need to run the kingdom of the demons. Abigor had won but at a high price, he had loved his brother, and just watching the blood dripping onto the snow as he walked made him sick. It made him think about how he would never be able to sit and talk with his brother again, that he would not have someone who would care what he felt and thought, the way that his brother did, Zepar had always understood him. Abigor continued to walk through the high drifts of snow, the moon was high and big and shown a white glow over everything, the wind blew and as he got to the top of the hill he noticed that the castle hand changed, now his seal was on the front gate and on the banners that flew on the highest steeple. And standing at the front gate covered in snow was his father, Pyro. Pyro was lord of Lies and King of the valley. Abigor slowly made his way down to his father and percented to him his brothers sword.
" You did well my son, though at a high price I'm still glad that you came out on top."
"You knew that I would win, and with Zepar death I will rule and change the rules of becoming king. I loved him, father, he understood me and now he's gone, and I'll never see him again."
" That is true but he knew that you loved him and did not want to kill him, come Abigor, it is time to present your brother's sword to the council and take my place as king."
So with those final words Abigor and Pyro walked side by side through the giant black wood gates to present the defeated brothers sword to the council and to receive the crown of darkness.
